I am sitting here at the hospital with my mom who was admitted last night. I think she really wanted me to miss the 2:00 am release. I am bored out of my mind and then I decided to pull out my lappie and play. They are getting ready to take her for a 4 hour test. YIKES! I think I will start pulling my hair out soon. I should have brought my REV and some dies, I did that for her last surgery. The people in the waiting room were looking at me like I was crazy, then it clicked and I had other ladies sitting around making cuts taking their minds off their loved ones. I made some new friends and introduced some people to the wonderful world of die cutting. Maybe once I pull all my hair out I can take a picture and scrap it for fond memories.

Sometimes I look at it at work on my phone. I have to be stealthy though!
Hope your mom is ok!

Thanks for asking about her. They have her stable at the moment. Planning on a cardiolite stress test in the am.
They still don't know what is causing her chest pains, but she has been ill for a while now, so they are trying to rule things out.

I agree...hospitals are absolutely no fun, but thank goodness they're there when we need them! When my husband was ill with a long-term ailment (Guillain-Barre syndrome), we made some wonderful friends. I sincerely hope that they can quickly identify what's happening with your mom, and that she will be okay very, very soon. Take care of yourself, too!
