I am so furious with my bank right now!!! I am overdrawn by their stupid mistake! I guess they are getting too big!
My husband deposited his check on Saturday and it is not in our account!!!
So now I have overdrafts, etc and can't pay our bills!

That is very annoying. You would think you would be able to work things out with them since you have a deposit slip. Maybe they will reverse the charges.

OH, Cheryle I hope you get that fixed right away and have them type up letters to your retailers if any checks were returned back explaining that it was their fault and not yours.

OH that just isn't acceptable..
it sort of happened to us once.. when we put a large cheque in the night deposit..
waited days and it didn't show on our account..
after a long phonecall to the bank...
they discovered it ... stuck in the shoot....

All, Thanks for your wishes and letting me vent!
I work about 2 minutes from one of the branches and got there about 5 minutes before closing.
The other branch mgr told me that they would have it completed by the end of business yesterday.
I saw a person I work with at the branch and she went into my account and called the "persons" that were suppose to be correcting my account and one had gone home!
I was able to get the money deposited, however; all the overdraft charges and reversals needed to be done as well.
I just got off the phone with Peter who was suppose have it done last night and was told that they "found" the money which I was concerned about because I was worried they would reverse it from my account. He told me by noon, I should have my account fixed. I've done Saturday through today on an excel spreadsheet to review the charges and reversals this afternoon. I also have a line of credit - I was fortunate to have that so it automatically transferred money from that account, but they have to reverse all the interest too!
One thing that really irked me was Carly, the girl I spoke to at their operations center, she said, "IF you deposited the money"!
So, I'm complaining to her manager too! I've been banking at this bank for almost 30 years, exagerating by 7 months! I have caught errors while in the bank, and one time the clerk asked me, "Do you have online banking", I said yes, and she told me that I could transfer the money to the correct account when I got home! I said, No, you can do it right now. They put the money in my checking instead of savings! I forced her to correct her mistake as the paperwork was correct.
Now, I will have a better day! I was going to call my husband's work to have them stop payment on his paycheck and then I'm sure you know what would happen, but at least they would "find" the money but it didn't resort to that and I"m glad!

Well all I can say is that I don't trust banks. I never have any moneyanyway as Dani is always getting it all. What a salesman. Just can't resist that baby face especially when he's crying! If you can dish it out you had better be able to take it. Funny I had thought that you liked me somehow? Like Anguelique your true colours are showing through! <><

Angelique, you know I hold you in highest reguard! I have to because I need a place to stay in The Netherlands!!! I posted something last night that I am trying to find. It is all Danis' fault.
