Here in Germany we celebrate tomorrow night (opening presents, lighting the Christmas tree etc) - and in my family we always eat fondue for Christmas dinner. What are all you other Divas from all over the world eating for Christmas ?

Well, tomorrow night, Christmas Eve, we will be at my brother and sister in laws and there we will have sandwich/hot sandwich type foods and snacks starting at 7pm. Maybe a hot soup or something too.
Christmas Day we will be at my nieces and her husband will make a gigantic prime rib and they usually have ham too. My husband has 13 brothers and sisters so both these times are spent with his family and are usually buffet style.
Tonight, Wednesday, we are going to my sisters house and we will probably have a lot of Italian food. My sister lives in South Philadelphia and it is very Italian there although we aren't Italian. Busy next couple of days.
Have a very Merry Christmas Ute. Enjoy!!!!

We mixed three traditions, one from my husband's family and the other two from mine.
Christmas Eve is having tamales and visiting with family and friends and at midnight, we place baby Jesus in the manger.
On Christmas day, the children see what Santa sees and we have a Christmas tea brunch.
On January 7th (the old calendar) we celebrate Orthodox Christmas and see what St. Nicholas leaves in the shoes.

I "fixed" my online food order at www.foodler.com . Sad, I know, but yummy and stress-free dinner. ;D
