I have been keeping my clear stamps in a zippered portfolio. The sleeves are acid free. I was putting them in the sleeves on the backing they came on. Love it because it zips, has a handle and a shoulder strap. (used 40% off coupon at HL) PROBLEM was if I didn't tape them they sometimes fell to the bottom of the sleeve. Even if they didn't fall they were hard to get to. PROBLEM SOLVED: I think it was on Susan's blog or video were I seen she was putting her stamps on the outside of the sleeve. (DUH on me) So now I'm re-doing my stamps. Now........... QUESTION is when you store your stamps this way do you put stamps on both sides of your pages or only one side. My concern is if they are on both sides does the stamps stick together or do you put something between them. (also if they touch do they mash the design; mess the image up. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. Hugs & Prayers Cat

hey Cat - I'm not 100% sure that I understand what you are using, but I'll explain what I am using. I use the storage sheets that Dani sells... www.scrapyland.com/Stamp_N_Stor_Storage_Panels_5_Pkg_8_5_x11_p/ss05.htm...I love these! It's Gail's fault, she got me hooked on them! They do NOT go into a sheet protector, my 3-ring binder just has 7 of these sheets in them. I put stamps on both sides of the pages too, more storage space, and I don't have any trouble with them mashing into each other because I store my 3-ring binder standing up. If you laid it down flat, I would think you might have some pages touching, but I would think the stamps would still be okay! that's how I'm doing it now and I'm super happy with it! hope that helps you picture the pages and how they work!

Thanks so much Susan. Somehow I thought it was sheet protectors you were using. (Duh on me again) Thanks for sitting me straight on what you use. I did put my project on hold until I heard back from someone on this issue. While I love my portfolio to keep my stamps in;putting the stamps inside the sleeves was not working. (my portfolio is what art or photo students are using here to carry their works. It's just a large binder with lots of rings that zips with a handle and shoulder strap on the spine....making it easier to carry....It has removeable acid free sheet protectors inside. I was calling them sleeves.) I'm sure the storage sheets Dani is selling will work in the portfolio since they work in a 3-ring binder. Now I need Dani to get them back in stock so I can order some. Thanks again Susan for your help I knew I could count on someone on the message board to help me. Thanks Gail for turning Susan on to these storage sheets. This solution will make using my stamps so much more enjoyable. Hugs & Prayers Cat

Hey Cat and Susan! Glad you guys like this system for unmounteds. I've tried a bunch of others before, and this is definitely the best. Thanks to Dani for carrying the supplies!! Gail

I like the Tim Holtz binders and sleeves for my clear stamps, so I can leave them on the printed plastic sheet they come on (otherwise, I have trouble figuring out which stamp is which!!) For me, the sleeves don't seem to work as well for unmounted red rubber, though. Maybe that's just me?? Gail
