There are a lot of cute dies there...do I have a use for all of them? Probably not, but I come from a family of seamstresses (my mom and my aunts), so I think I have some ideas for some family history pictures. (That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! ;D)

If you don't sew, think cards to Grandma or Auntie. And there's not just sewing dies! There's crochet, kids crafting, painting, etc... A bit of something for everyone! Noelle, you are certainly going to need some of those kid crafty dies for when your niece gets a bit bigger! Crafting with toddlers is so much fun! And very, very messy! Michelle

There are totally multiple uses! I loved the color swashes, paint drips and splats and clothesline. And OOOOOOH, the measuring tape and sketchbook alphabet.... I found SOO many uses for the measuring tape....the obvious sewing, growing children, school pages/projects. I just had fun with that one!! Alot of the dies could easily be used as school supplies (scissors, measuring tape, glue stick, paint brushes.......etc.). Granted, elementary school or art school projects. The best part of those dies is that they all looked similar in size. They went together.

I think it's a great release, very crafty. Just have to be careful about ordering right now (since I have so many pre-orders and going on a cruise in a couple weeks) so for right now I have to have the slr camera, tape measure and sketchbook alphabet. Will want more at a later time. Vicki

I liked the measuring tape, large splats, artist easel, large camera, and I always buy the 2x2's because I started with the 2x2's and I just love them. Several I can pass on but Susan and the Design Team will probably change my mind. I hope they still have a Holiday Release. Deborah

Did everyone see Dani's post on the other thread? Order now to get the best prices! "Unfortunately there are store owners who dont really care much about QK rules and every release they start selling early and lower price than the allowed by QK.
My current price is priced to match them. It will most likely go up tomorrow once QK takes care of them."So be sure to order tonight! Michelle

OH! I'm so mad...I had the most wonderfully written blog post to go live at 9:01 PDT tonight. I walked into the house at about 8:40pm from a meeting...and logged in to quickly add one more picture {of the font} that I had time to stick in there. When I did - everything disappeared! ACK - I was literally freaking out here in my scrap room!! So I'm sure several of you saw just a big ol line of pictures with no words, as I was adding them back to the blog one-at-a-time. I put pictures up first, and then started recreating the entire blog post's words. OH MY I'm not good when I have to be fast! So at 10:something pm I finally got it all back up. I think. I didn't do as much explaining as i did in the original post, so please if you have any questions feel free to ask here or on the blog. For now, I'm off to bed. My table is a mess, but I'm turning in! This new release is a lot of fun, cute and definitely versatile! Lots of good sizes to play with! ENJOY ladies!

Susan, my computer eats emails. Especially the long ones or the ones explaining something in great detail. I HATE having to type it all back out again. But thanks for all the photos of the actual dies. They are great and so helpful when deciding which to order. I just can't wait until mine get here! Michelle

Oh, what a fun release! My grandma earned extra money with sewing during the bad times after WW II to support my mom when she went to university. This die looks just like her old Singer, maybe a good jumpstart to do a few pages about them. LOVE all the sewing, crochetting, painting dies - I've got a crafty family ;D The font reminds me of Calvin, which I never bought cause a few letters looked strange to me. Now I'm happy about it, cause I like it much better as unicase. Off to place my order

I don't know what I want. Probably when I decide they will all be gone, just like the last release.

I think this release really speaks to so many of us, because few of us are "Unicrafters" (I think I just created that term, but you know what I mean ) - most anyone who's into scrapping also has dipped her (I apologize to any guy scrappers out there for my feminist choice of pronoun ) toes into other crafts as well - and sometimes jumped right in! As so many of you have posted, we often also come from a long line of crafty ladies. I'd love to see some of the pages and stories you all create from this release. Of course Susan's unique ideas for these dies don't hurt either!
