DH (the ultimate Giants fan) is deleriously happy at the moment because "his team" just won the National League Championship!

I asked him (after the game) if he thought the Giants would win, and he said that he hoped they would win, but really didn't think they would, because the Phillies have such an incredibly talented team, and the Giants team is comparatively young.

It will be interesting to see how the World Series goes...

I was thinking about you and your DH when the Giants beat the Phillies. I figured your DH was very happy. I, on the other hand, was bummed!!! but the team that played better definitely won the series. The Phillies lost their mojo!!! They couldn't hit! and when they did they couldn't bring them home to score. It was so frustrating!! My banner came down on Sunday. Oh well, maybe next year.

Anyway, it's hard to say who will win the World Series - the Giants or the Rangers but the Rangers have one heck of an offense. They really beat up the Yankees. (YAY!!!!) So, Wednesday night we get to see former Phillie Cliff Lee pitching for the Rangers and former Phillie Pat Burrell in the outfield for the Giants. OH how cruel!
