Ok, now we can officially discuss the new release! What is your favorite die? I'm in love with the snowflakes. As you will see when my projects are posted! I've been wanting QK to come out with some larger snowflakes and they delivered! The largest shape is 5 1/2" across. So what is your favorite shape? Michelle

I've been wanting QK to come out with some larger snowflakes and they delivered! The largest shape is 5 1/2" across. So what is your favorite shape? Michelle well...since you asked! the tree trunk border - LOVE that one. Can't wait to add a cardinal to the branch, a birdhouse to it as well. Also - doesn't Timmy have a wood grain embossing folder? CUTE!! the nesting stockings [both of them] - I cut out 2 million of them from scraps of last years holiday patterned paper and they look adorable. I just didn't get it done in time for the blog - cute cute cute! With a hunk of a scalloped rectangle for the topper - even cuter! LOVE LOVE LOVE the branch - I'm so glad they made the berries separate and different sized - this is going to be a great generic background for cards and pages and photo mats. LOVE how it can be cut in any color and anything blingy could be used for the berries! but let's not forget the nesting tree - OH MY - this thing can be made to fill up an entire 5x12" border space on your page! Think of the easy pages you can make for JUST christmas tree pictures! I also think a "build a tree" type of countdown {or count up!} calendar would be cute for little kiddos. Like until grandma and grandpa arrive or until school is out! Number the pieces of the tree and let 'em just keep building on the fridge {using QK magnetic sheets} until they reach the star on top! LOVE this tree! And it looks stinkin' adorable cut from patterns! and the 4x4 cocoa mug - OH cuteness! I love it a latte! LOL and the holly leaves 4x4 - love the dimensional leaves and it look cute cut from felt and buttons for berries okay - laundry done - gotta stop there! but Michelle asked

I'm a terrible when it comes to snowflakes, although we don't have that much snow here. Of course they're in my cart ;D I'm surprised how much I like the loopy borders. So versatile - snowflakes, leaves, bees, flowers, all looks great with these, not to mention all kinds of birthday. Or combine it with a paitbrush - voila, a paint line. The nesting trees remind me of the old Archiver's exclusive. Never got that one, but the trees are even more versatile. I've been wanting a pine cone for ages. We have a lot of natural looking Christmas/Winter decoration and I like to take pictures of it for my garden journals. Same for the branch w. berries. The deer is so elegant, but I've ordered the Tim Holtz deers, so not sure, what to do. I'd love to see both seide by side.

The reindeer is gorgeous -- so glad I can say that now! lol
I thought I had enough snowflakes until I saw pics of the dies and Susan's card... so, back to shopping so I can get that and a couple other dies I thought I didn't need.
Same with the snowmen. Have a bunch, but I think I need another one.
The stacking tree is a maybe for me. Not sure, but it looks so versatile since we can make the tree just about any height.
Mittens, elf socks, swirly border thingy... they were a no at first glance, but since I'm placing a second order they may find their way to my craftroom.
I've been out of the loop for a bit. Are bundles not offered anymore? I used to buy the monthly sets in bundles more often than not. It sure made the "should I or shouldn't I" discussion easy because I just went ahead and bought everything as a bundle. Now I have to actually CHOOSE!

Thanks so much for the picture, Meg! Well, it actually looks like the TH deers are female and QK is a guy, so they'd make up a cute "family", right ;D

Agreed, I think both dies will work well together! I really can't pick just one die, though I really do love that deer, and the candy cane, ooh! and the branch with berries! Stop me before I order again! Gail

Well, I'm happy I'm not restricted to choosing just ONE die or set! Of course I love the alpha, and then the snowman, and the snowflakes, and the tree with the berries (hello, IRock red crystals!), and the nesting dies, and the mug (we have hot chocolate every weekend morning during the winter), and... and... and...

Ok, I asked which ONE die was your favorite! I love the deer family--good catch, Meg and Scrapkatze! I agree the TH dies look more feminie. Darn--I was passing up the TH die in favor of the QK one. Yes, I agree that the branch just begs for some bling for the berries. And Susan, I totally agree with the felt holly and button berries. Now my next project isn't going to be a surprise! Did you peek in my studio? That mug-- it just begs for a card with "Thanks a Latte." Starbucks gift cards, cocoa mix gifts... So many ideas! Michelle

Michelle, you should know, that there's no such thing as "ONE QK die". Of course we love several of them, as we love our children, each for his/her own personality.
I'm so glad I've ordered the reindeer, after seeing Gails stunning page it's a must have anyway ;D

we can only pick one? no way, lol. I will have to say the deer drew my eye first but I ended up not ordering him because I have the TH deer on hold and now that you showed them side by side, oh I am going to have to have the deer, lol. But I also love the nesting trees, branch with berries, tree trunks, and love, love, love the holiday set. But after seeing Susan's stockings, I am going to have to order those as well as the mug. Hope they don't sell out too soon. Vicki

A cute way to use those long stockings would be with the clothes line border from the last release.

That needs to be QK's next release--a good cardinal/birdie. I needed a cardinal for my snowflake page (not yet seen!) and I ended up using a sticker. I have 5 birds and not one was tiny enough or the right look. So many dies and I still need more! Michelle

and how cute is that snowman set and the snowflakes are gorgeous but I live in Florida so I'm going to pass on them, they just wouldn't get used (don't mention cards to folks up north cause I can't make cards, just isn't in me unfortunately) but I'm still thinking on how I can justify buying those two cause they are awesome, lol. Vicki (and my order is showing arriving later today, woo hoo)

Vicki, Look at Leisa Rice Baptist's layout on the QK design team on the QK site. That should help you justify snowmen in FL. Hey, I'm just here to help enable. I don't know why but I was drawn to the new QK sweater tag maybe because I love little tags. Have fun shopping everyone. Will we every quit calling it Quick Kutz? Leisure Arts has a long way to go to change the name in our minds.

Not only do we just plain need one, but I live in Ohio and it's our state bird. We need a couple sizes, too.
