But PB is expensive! We got through a ton of it in our house. Ramen is super, super cheap!

I have to say I love how they designed the reindeer in this release, making the deer and single cut and all you have to do is attach the berries. Easy assembly, I love it! I haven't played with the other dies I got yet but I'm sure they will be pretty simple too by the looks of them!

Noelle, now that you mentioned it, yep, I think you are right. The new dies have a much cleaner look. I love how detailed some of the dies are, but yikes! I need a magnifying glass to assemble some of them. And the tiny little fiddley bits--arrrgh! Those tiny little dots kill me every time! I especially noticed the simplified version with the snowmen and the mouth. It's still dots, but they are joined together. The snowman from the SnowDay gift set has the same sort of mouth, but they are individual dots. I've been known to draw his mouth in... But remember one of Susan's great tips--cut the die in white CS and then color them with your Copics or other markers. I do this a lot now, and love it! I still have to handle the pieces, but at least I don't have to cut them out separate as well. Michelle

I stopped buying the 2 x 2 dies a long time ago because some of the bits were to small to mess with. I like the cleaner lines and I still prefer 4x4's as opposed to the 2x2's. Does anyone remember the tudor rose die? Now that was a die that never should have been sold. What a major pain and so unnecessary! I love these new dies. My favorite is the branch and berries. Barb

While I love piecing stuff together. I was a huge paper piecing addict back in the day. I miss all those patterns and cutting but my need to cut and put together is frequently satisfied by quickutz ;D ;D ;D ;D I think that's why I use my dies alot and alot more frequently than my friends who have lots and lots of qk dies. Morning Vicki: I like the piecing as well, but there is a limit to what I will fiddle with especially if it's so obvious that the die could have been made much simpler. I point to the tudor rose die as a prime example. ish, that thing was simply not worth the effort. P.S. I love all the disney cricut cartridges. Very detailed with lots of pieces. Barb

I totally love the Snowflakes and how detailed they are. I have those on my wish list for Christmas.
I picked up the Reindeer die. It's realistic and not cutesy. I don't enjoy the cutesy QK dies. I like when they are more realistic.
And of course I got the 2x2 Candycane for free when I went to my LSS QK Club Meeting. =) I like it over the original 2x2 candycane.
I am looking forward to punching it out with white glitter paper and using red stickles.

I love how Susan shows us the dies and the pieces that it takes to assemble the dies. And QK seems to be better about making the assembly less fiddley. I appreciate that! And when Susan shows us the dies, we can see if we want to putz with the die or not!

I love it when Susan shows us the dies and we can see all the different pieces too. It helps me make up my mind which dies I think I can't live with out. I like to mix & match different dies/pieces.......and make something different. Cat
