Can anyone recommend a product for text on a save the date card similar to doodlebug alphabet rub ons jack & jill, but smaller. I need it for my save the date cards for my wedding. It can be a quickutz font, stickers or maybe something used on the silhouette. Let me know your suggestions, thanks! I've looked at michaels and craft warehouse and the letters are all so big!

First of all, congratulations! What fabulous news! When is the big day? And as cute as your niece is, we want to see pictures of the man! Reminisce has a rub on sheet, but it's not the same font. But my eyes would cross if I had to do too many with a QK font or even stickers! There is a sheet on evil bay for $1 and there are 6 sheets available. Michelle

Have you considered using a computer font for the text, and then using the QK, etc. for the eye candy? I've done that on invitations, just to save time! And congratulations! We DO want the date, the picture of the guy, and then...the wedding pictures!

I'm doing my daughter's wedding invitation graphics on the computer.

I would do them on the computer as well and then just print it out on cardstock.
Hugs,

Noelle, congratulations on your wedding! I'm with the other Divas - doing this on computer could save you lots of time, and would give you a huge selection of fonts and sizes. Then use your dies, etc for the bling! Gail

Congratulations on your wedding! I aggree with the Divas about using computer lettereing. I used the QK Rollerskate font to spell "Danke" on the Thank you cards I sent after my dads funeral, and though I made only 40 for the closest family & friends, it was quite a task! A nice computer font, printed out and matted on good cardstock looks always good and then you can enjoy embellishing with QK, bling, Primas + Glimmer Mist......

Thanks for the feedback. I'm only making 20 of them and they are pretty simple, so it's not too big of a deal. The cards were made with the letterpress with the wedding plates, so I don't know if just printing off the computer would look very good.

Noelle, I suspected that you weren't making too many if you were thinking of die cutting the letters! I can't wait to see what you do with the Letterpress. It is such a beautiful technique.
I just ordered Garden and I think it's coming tomorrow. I can measure the letters for you, but I think they will be about the same size as the font stickers you are looking at using. Stiletto is a small font, but not the style you posted. Olivia is small, too. But again, not the same font. Does anyone else have an idea?

Mini Studio is a simple tiny font- about 1/2" for capitols Banana Split is slightly larger Mini Frankie is also about 1/2" but it is a bit more whimsical

Noelle, could you print the information on your computer on other paper and make it into an "insert" in the "Save the Date"/Letterpress part of the card? (You can tell I'm trying to save you from having to cut and glue all those letters...even if it's only 20 or so

Wow! It looks terrific! That had to take a lot of work...how many did you make? And ditto to Michelle's request...where's the picture of "the guy"? The Divas need to approve of him before July!

Great picture! Now that we've seen him, you can go ahead with your wedding plans! Just a thought for those limited 1's...are there other letters that you're not using that could be trimmed down and made into 1's? (Without too much work!)

The save the date came out real cute. I like the pink and the blue. I did see on facebook your table linens in the same color. Sweet colors. Will you have bridesmaids? What color are their dresses. I love everything about weddings.
