Yep, that's right, a whole week early. DH is in Maine and he just texted me that he had the goods. Whoo hoo!  Just in case you aren't a Bliss house, that would be Cranberry Bliss from Starbucks. About 9,000 calories in each bite. And worth every sit up! Michelle |

It's a bar. I don't know quite how to describe it. It's a very buttery base with cranberries and white chocolate chips. And then cream cheese frosting on the top. If you aren't addicted, step away from the Bliss. Or you will be hooked forever! And I don't even want to know the carb count on this one--a kajillion? If I only have a bite of DH's Bliss, it doesn't truly count, right? I don't drink coffee, so I'm not tempted by the drinks. But oh, the Bliss!  Michelle |

Okay... Every time I see all four of you DT folks on at the same time, I figure you're up to something! And here I thought this was going to be a HUGE tease about the Black Friday release! I guess I'll have to go to one of our Starbucks and just "sample" the Bliss-thing! That couldn't hurt, could it? |

speaking of Starbucks - the deal coming up on the 18th is worth checking out...BOGO coffee drinks from 2-5 I think! And okay - I admit - when at the airport I treat myself. Especially this time of year. But here locally I'm all Dunkin all the time! HAHA!!  |

America Runs on Dunkin'! I thought that was just in Massachusetts. I swear there is a DD on every corner. (Except in my town!  ) Poor DH--he's a Starbucks fiend and refuses to "go over to the dark side." When he deployed a few years ago, the barista at the Starbucks in his office building thought he had moved. They were so happy to see him back!  And Diane, who says that we aren't "up to something?" poor hubby, he is now known at Starbucks. He walked in after class tonight and the gals said Hi Bob! Want a White Chocolate Mocha, lol. Guess that means he goes in a lot that they now know him by name. He just got a gold card in the mail, I guess another indication he goes in a lot for me. He's the sweetest.

I didn't know our DHs were related! At his old job, if the line was long, the barista would just take DH's coffee tumbler, fill it and hand it to him. When it's shopping, I am a very fast girl! Mila, if you take a nibble of someone else's Bliss, the calories don't count! DH just walked in the door with a pretty little box with 2 pieces of Bliss! I don't even have to share. But of course I will share because I bought fat pants today. Grrr... And Bunco tonight... Must resist! Michelle |

went and got my own Starbucks this morning, and saw that bliss bar and kept on walking, lol. Know not to try it, don't need to become addicted to another thing at Starbucks, lol. But I thought of you Michelle!

Try one at the end of December. They stop making them after Christmas, so if you can't resist them, you will be safe after just a taste or two. ;D
And I won't mention that I have the recipe. They aren't nearly as good, but they are pretty close!
And I won "most losses" at Bunco tonight. Such an honor! ;D

I'll put the recipe in the recipe section later. And the recipe for my Sweet Potato Casserole. We had Tday early at the squadron today and I have several requests for the recipe.
I'll make everyone fat by New Years! But it will be a happy fat!
