I didn't know where else to post this so, I got some of the new christmas sizzix dies and I have the regular big shot and the big shot express but it seems they are too thick of dies so is there some accessory I need to buy in order to use them?

Noelle, it sounds like you need to contact Sizzix. I have the Epic and haven't noticed anything different. Michelle

:)noelle i have some of the sizzix alterationions dies by t!m.... they are the steel blade die cuts original size... the sandwich i use from bottom up is clear plate, die, paper, pattern side down, clear plate... they cut like butter... you should be able to use any of the large, thick dies with this sandwich... hope this helps.

Noelle, I use the same sandwich as Katherine. and it seems to work fine. I do think it would be great if this board had a Sizzix area, though. Oh, Dani!! Gail

Okay well these are the first sizzix dies I've had and it seems as if I'm just missing something. Are you supposed to run the die or do I need take the black foam off? I don't know I'm clueless lol

I don't know I'm clueless lol Noelle how are you running the Sizzix die through the Big Shot? To use the dies you have all you need are the two thin/clear mats. The ones that most closely resemble the thickness of the old Revolution mats, or the original Epic mat. You probably have with your Big Shot two clear plates and then the multi-platform that is like a hinged book. Put one clear plate down, then your Sizzix die - with the black foam facing up, then your paper and finally the other clear plate. VIOLA - should run through just fine! Give us some more details if you're still having problems! Here's the video I did eons ago about the Big Shot. It doesn't show a Sizzix die, but I think you'll see the platforms in use.

Ok, I'm just half retarded. It does go through the machine, I was just afraid that it looked thick and would break my machine and I don't want that to happen!

Noelle, Susan has a vast store of videos. And YouTube is a great resource as well. In case you get stuck again!
