Merry Christmas! We are just back from Mass. Snow is lightly falling, the fire is going and the cinnamon rolls are in the oven. The kids opened their stockings this morning and are bouncing off the walls to open gifts. (we are torturing them by making coffee first!)
Vicki, I know how big of a deal it is to have all the kids there! My MIL always loved those Christmases the best. We saw my brother last night at my grandma's. They are at his in laws today and we will do our celebration with them tomorrow. It's a fun time with lots of family--that's why we come home every year!

Noelle, I'm in Minneapolis right now. There is snow EVERYWHERE! It's the second snowiest December ever.
My grandmother's house was half buried. The walkway up to the door was a tunnel about 4 feet tall. DH and my brother spent some time raking snow off her roof--again. She lives in an older neighborhood and driving is an adventure--you have to creep around the corners when driving. The kids were VERY impressed!
Dad didn't get as much snow (about 30 minutes west of Grandma.) But he lives in the country and there's more room to put the snow!

Sorry, I have be off the MB over the holidays. I wanted to add my wishes for a wonderful holiday season! I hope Santa was good to you all and no one got a lump of coal in their stocking!
My best gift was spending our 1st Christmas morning with 2 of the grandchildren! Their excitement and wonder did the heart good.
Hard to believe that we are about to usher in a new year. Seems I just got used to writing 2010 on my checks!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! I'm sure we will have some fun projects and hopefully some inspirations for you in the new year!
