I've been working on my pennants for the Diva exchange, and was having trouble removing die-cut from the die at the little top tabs. I used a spare 2x2 foam to foam just the tabs, and problem solved! The perfs for the foldline still cut just fine. Figured I'd pass this along, since many of us are doing the pennant exchange, and the nested pennants were also popular! HTH Gail

Thanks for the foaming tip! I had difficulty getting the tabs to release, too.
Also...sometimes the tip (pointy end) is reluctant to release smoothly, at least on my die. Gentle nudging would get it to let go, eventually.

Gail, it's funny that you should mention this. I was moving dies around today on my magnet board and was surprised to see that my big pennants were foamed like you said, but not the smaller pennants. I'd forgotten that I'd done that! I also foamed the tips of the pennants. Like Diane said, I had problems with it getting stuck there, too. My tips are much crisper since they aren't being bent pulling them out of the die.

Michelle - great minds do think alike! ;D After I posted this, I put a tiny piece of foam in the tip as well. Gail

Gail, I had to laugh at myself! I just couldn't imagine why they wouldn't have foamed the smaller dies! (fore head slap at my old age forgetfulness!)
