I was informed a little bit ago that my grandpa on my dad's side is in a coma from a fatal aneurysm and it's unlikely that he will come out of it. He is old, but it will still be hard if we lose him too. My dad passed from stomach cancer in September 2009. I haven't overcome the trama from that yet. Ugh.

Oh No! I am so sorry  My mother in law died un-expectedly in November 09 and I still cannot believe she is gone. |

yeah my other grandpa died in 2006, my grandma on my dad's side in 2007 died. So if he passes, I'll just have 1 grandparent left =(

I know what your going thru , I have no more grandparents no father and my brother passed away 9 months ago it's very hard to move on and try to make it thru every day but my prayers and hopes are with you that it will get better with time and always remember they are always with you in your heart and scrapbooks |

Thanks for all the support. I haven't heard any update on the condition yet as he was taken to the medical center on the army base in Washington and it's 3 or more hours driving but not even sure if they would let me in so I'll just wait to hear from my uncle. Sucks not knowing what is happening though.

Just got the news that he passed away last night around 8, within minutes of being taken off machines. They kept him on machines until my uncle arrived there. I can't really find words to explain how I feel. |

Yeah, my grandpa was a big time hoarder so I'm sure my uncle was extremely overwhelmed with everything.

It is hard to understand how a person can be okay one day, and then something suddenly goes wrong and they're gone. I guess that's why you should really not take every day for granted because the next is never guaranteed. I'm just glad the neighbors looked out for him so he wasn't just lying there in his house for a long period of time. I think it was the second fall that did it, I will know more details when I hear from my uncle, but from what my brother said is from the car to the emergency room door, he fell again and fractured his skull or something along those lines. Poor guy  |
