everyone here is so nice! Seriously - Dania asks for something and within minutes there is an offer to help her out! I just love scrapbookers, and I just love the Divas we have here at Scrapy Land! But since it worked for Dania - I thought I'd put out my own request... I'm looking for someone to repaint the trim on the front of my house. I'm also looking for someone to catalog all of my dies. I'm also looking for someone to purge and sort and reprint all of my recipes. That's all I can think of now, but there is probably more! HAHAH - anyone offering???

Susan, you do NOT want me painting your house, BUT I could take a stab at organizing your dies or recipes! While I'm doing that could you clean my studio?? Gail

Oh Susan, I'll be happy to come to Arizona and help Michelle organize those dies for you especially if it gets me out of this cold weather here. It's snowing again right now and they have already called a 2 hr. delay for the schools tomorrow.

Phyllis, we have lots of school closings here, too. But my kids have the day off for a teacher work day. Right now, I'm trying to decide if I'm going to physical therapy. It's supposed to turn to ice and I hate driving in ice!

Michelle, the snow turned to freezing rain/sleet so "no school" today. My daughter was happy to hear that!! She was at a retreat with her youth group this past weekend and just got home about 5pm last night. She put some final touches on a project that was due today and went to bed exhausted. Even with the 2 hr. delay she was going to get up at 7:30 and work on Physics. The automated system called at about 7:37 so guess who went back to bed.

Phyllis, I'm so glad that it all worked out for her. Those projects always seem to come after a full weekend!
I ended up staying home from PT. We have about 4" now and it's switching over to rain in the next hour. The kids are heading out right now to shovel and play. Big Dog is super excited--she loves the snow!

I organize/ stage/ clean houses for a living. And it it snowing AGAIN in Maine, a blizzard a week, that is us! I could use a warm place to visit. But can I play in your scrap room and have private copic lessons and Sil. lessons when I am through? I am scared of my scrapbook toys these days. Jenn

Jenn, when your supplies start scaring you, it's time to go back to basics! Get some CS, a picture and just keep it simple!

Jenn, when your supplies start scaring you, it's time to go back to basics! Get some CS, a picture and just keep it simple! Funny you mention that. I have stopped looking at all the latest and greatest and went back to my stamps, colored pencils and basic supplies. I use to enjoy scrapping, but in the last few years I have felt that it has become to expensive, to high tech, and in many cases to competitive (at least in my areas).. Now I scrap alone with basic supplies, show only a few people my cards and am much happier. Jenn

Jenn, I just sent a LO to Susan that fits this category. I kept feeling like I should put more on it, that I didn't have enough stuff on it! But in the end, I decided simple was good. It fit the subject and the theme!
