I sent LC an email about purchasing a spare set of gears for my Revolution since everything I have read is that this is a limited release of the Rev. The response I got back was that couldn't sell me a spare set of gears unless mine were broken!!!! What kind of BS is that??? Afterall, I was wanting to purchase them--- I wasn't asking for them to send them to me for FREE!!! I don't know ab everyone else but I don't ever use my epic--I have one but was disappointed with all the problems it has had and I wish they would just rerelease the Revolution for good or come up with a new and improved revolution with a magnetic platform that is the same size as the epic one!
Sorry for all the complaining--- just don't understand their reasoning at all!

Lisa, this is interesting. I wonder if they are going through the gears really fast? You could try calling back. It never hurts to ask again. I'm just really hoping that they can keep them in stock!

I don't get it.
They'll sell four sets of gears to someone who calls and says her Rev gears are broken, but they won't sell one set to someone who calls and says she wants to buy a set for back-up???
I'd call back and see if you get a different CS agent. Sometimes you just need to speak with someone who is capable of original thought (doesn't simply spout the "company line").

Their attitude seems really odd to me. You could always try misleading them with the truth: "I need a new set of gears for my Rev." Not a lie, but will make them think you "qualify" for new gears. It amazes me they won't sell them to you. Its not like you were trying to buy their entire supply! Good luck! Gail

that is strange... my gears actually did break hence my calling and ordering. Call them and just order and just say you need new gears instead of sending an e-mail it may have been misconstrued by LC but who knows. good luck!

Thanks for the advice--I guess I need to call them. Their response just aggravates me.

That seems like a very unusual response for LC/aka QK... I had no problem with email correspondence when I contacted them, telling them that I was experiencing some "slippage" with the Rev gears, but made it clear that they weren't (yet) broken. They immediately (within an hour) emailed back with instructions on how to order replacement gears. They requested the model number on the bottom of the Rev, and sent the gears on the day that I paid for them. I'd call them again, making note of the name of the person you talk with, and then follow it up with an email, including "Att: [name of person you talked to]" in the subject line. I agree that the replacement supply is running low, as this topic has been discussed on several MBs. They usually have super CS, so their response to you is puzzling. I hope this works out well for you!
