I am so frustrated, and here's why! When Memory Makers magazine folded, the remainder of my subscription was filled by another company (which will remain nameless here, but it publishes several different craft magazines, all of which are approximately 9" x 9", printed on heavy/shiny paper, and rather pricey). Since the subscription ran out, I have been innundated by emails, snail mail, and phone calls (I don't know quite how they got the number, since it's unlisted). Every time, I tell them I'm definitely not interested, and to remove me from any and all of their contact lists. And yet, they keep coming (including the latest one today). I have marked the emails as "spam", since I have an immediate spam blocker, but this company must have an unlimited number of email addresses. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them to stop? All ideas will be deeply appreciated! Thanks for "listening" to my !

Call them directly and ask to speak with a supervisor. Tell them what you told us here. Say that they are nusiance calls/emails and that you want them to stop. I'm pretty sure that they legally need to stop. Is there still a Do Not Call List? Get on that. And you can raise the filters on your email. I get maybe one spam email a month that sneaks through. But the kids have email and I don't want them getting THOSE spam emails!
I don't know if this will help, but at least you could try!

Thanks, Michelle! Both my DH's account and mine block spam immediately, but as you said, occasionally something slides through. The problem with this magazine's email, of course, is that it is a legitimate business. I will call them tomorrow, and hopefully find a supervisor's listening ear!

You may want to contact your email provider and see if they can block their 'domain' for you

Did you get through to them on the phone? Vicki Today turned out to be a bit hectic, so I didn't get a chance to try (but I will on Monday!) A friend suggested that I simply mark every email as "spam" and eventually they'll go away (that's what she did, and it worked).
