Tomorrow is the big day--Valentine's Day! I was all set to do another layout contest, but the computer decided to act up. So we are going with a simple classic--guess the number of candies in the jar! This is my table centerpiece. Guess how many candy hearts are in the jar and win a prize! You can go over or under--it will be the person with the closest guess who will win. I have an extra pennant from the pennant swap and it's yours if you have the closest guess. ETA: I forgot to say when the contest closes. Let's say midnight, PST (West Coast time), February 14. ______________________________________________________________________ And the winner is... Crafty Girl! Way to go! Her guess was super close! There were 776 hearts in the jar--two one pound bags of conversation hearts. Her guess was 752. I'm impressed! You were closer than my DS and he had a pretty good method! And could see the hearts right in front of him! Your banner will be on it's way to you shortly! I'm sure DS will love sharing it!  |

475Who gets to help you eat count all of them? Let's just say that the kids have made quite a dent in them today. Actually, I did think that I would just send them to the winner. But then, the kids were in them and I thought, "I wouldn't want to eat them after they have sat out!" So we will go with the banner instead! |

I am on a lucky roll lately. I found a dozen roses this morning near the high school in an empty lot that the students use for parking. Not sure what the story is there, but I do know that the roses made me smile all day.
