okay ladies - we're working to perfect, polish, and finalize the awesome schedule of events for the second annual "Lucky Charms Week" here at Scrapy Land. But I need your help. For the LIVE shows, that I do on UStream, do you prefer to do a "project" or would you rather there be a "demonstration" and just watch. A "LIVE! project" would involve a supply list a day or two before, and watching me do the project while you either follow along with me or just take notes as you go. A "LIVE! demonstration" is simply that - me demonstrating a new tool, teaching a new technique, or explaining a trick. I will list some of the suggestions the DT and I have been tossing around: PROJECTS: - flip-flop card - pinwheel accents - boxes and containers - the armadillo box {AGAIN!! LOL} - envelopes - waterfall album - the easiest goodie bag ever - personalized hand sanitizers - shaker cards DEMONSTRATIONS: - using your Vagabond! - using the Grand Calibur! - color blocking {patterned papers} - tone-on-tone stamping {Copics and stamps} - faux water coloring {Eco-Green paints} - colored sprays and mists {Glimmer Mist & Perfect Pearls Mist} - heat embossing vs. pressure embossing - paints and pearls - all things Imaginesce {I-Rock, I-Bond, I-Topper} - Sew Easy handle and heads So there are some examples of things you can expect to see in 2 weeks - but obviously we can't do them ALL! So what would you prefer MORE of - projects or demonstrations? I've posted a poll above. If you chime in with your opinion it'd be much appreciated. If left completely up to the DT and I the week might be full of meadow-muffin filled boxes and boy scout treat bags! LOL! Thanks for your help everyone! Our goal is to announce the "Schedule of Events" early next week so everyone can make plans!

Techniques sound good. Tone on tone stamping sounds interesting? What is it? Katherine

Is it possible to do some of each? Given an absolute choice, I'd pick the demos of the new "toys" right now...I'm a very visual person, and learn much better when I can see how a product should be used. Of course, that's how I learn the projects best, also. Okay, I'll be happy either way!

some of each is doable...but I'd like to do the majority of them in what is desired the most!! and just to answer the emails I've received this a.m. - all of them will be recorded and archived on either YouTube or UStream. So no worries there. I'm just trying to please the masses, answer to the majority, keep y'all happy!

Susan, I would love to see you creating shaker cards project! Also love seeing you demo new items too. Me personally, I am not really into the boxes but love any ideas on gift bags.
They all sound good! Can't wait to see them.

It depends on the time and if it's a weekday. Also will there be any lifestyle crafts demos? How about new copic colors?

Lots of different times and 5 different days! I'm not sure what you mean by a Lifestyle Crafts demo? If you mean using the LC dies of course we will be using dies on several different projects throughout the week - can't keep 'em away from me and the DT. LOL! I have a hunch though, that what you mean is a "LETTERPRESS" demo. That depends on what supplies Scrapy Land has in stock right before Lucky Charms week starts. Because let's face it - it's all about enabling!! And new Copic colors aren't in stock yet...I'm still holding my breath for them to arrive!

Susan, I know I'm no help because I love it all. I never get to watch live.....but I love watching recording of projects as well as the product demonstrations. My husband and son both recognize your voice; so they ask what are you learning now? (shaking their head and grinning ) Cat PS. Did you know you can cut mat board with a miter saw?.....cause I didn't ......but then my enablers think wayyyyyyyyy outside of the box.

Susan (go ahead and roll your eyes at me) How about showing projects using the new toys??? I know, I know... I want it all! But if I really need to narrow it down, my top picks are: the I Bond tool, Sew Easy, color blocking, the flip-flop card, easy goodie bags and shaker cards. And my girlies vote for personalized hand sanitizers! Yeah for Lucky Charms Week!

I want it all! How about a video every day for a few weeks? That ought to cover it all!
