that on Saturday, did I not only play with some alcohol inks, I stamped too. You all know I'm not a stamper but I did have fun playing. I know everyone else has been using that stuff for a long time but it was new to me. I took a class from Jenn Starr (I believe she's a designer or something for Ranger) and learned lots of techniques. I have to say, I really like Tim Holtz's stamps, so much so I have several in my cart right now and I'm trying to decide if I would rather have the stamps or live cause if I push that buy button, hubby might kill me So yes, I stepped out of my comfort zone and had fun. Still don't want to make cards but I can use this stuff in my scrapbooks so we'll see.... Vicki

Way to go, Vicki! Now, come on over to the dark side with us cardmakers - you know you want to! Gail Vicki you never know who or what you will find on the dark side. You've made the leaping into stamping. It's just a tiny step to card making / dark side. We'd love to see you there. Cat

Nice try ladies but I think I'll stick with a little stamping in my scrapbooks, lol. Won't say never but don't see it happening. I will just continue to enjoy everyone else's beautiful cards. Vicki

This is so funny. I started out making cards and tried scrapping, but it was not my thing ..... so I went back to making cards and am having fun with my SB stuff again... My friends want me to come back to the dark side and SB pages. No thanks... sticking with cards. Jenn

I'm with you, Jenn. Cardmaking is my first love. Don't know why its more comfortable for me, but I seem to get more inspired doing cards than pages. I really think the same skills are involved, its just the size of the area we work on that's different! Thankfully, most supplies work well for either hobby! Gail

As far back as I can remember I have loved cards. My Great-Grandmother had a box full of beautiful lacy cards....the paper was cut like the paper dollies we see on the market today.... I loved those cards. Cat
