is it really? We have had rain, rain, rain for the past two weeks. If that's not enough, weve had four "small" tornados in nearby counties in the last couple of days, and today (along with the rain and hail), there have been winds clocking in at around 70 miles/hour. Oh, GRRRRRR!!!!! (Thanks for listening...I hope the weather is kinder in your area!

Diane, last night we were rocked with some pretty powerful Thunderstorms! And then Tornado warnings! So I hear you about Spring!
Hoping for more seasonal weather over the weekend. Keep smiling, it will get better

Oh, that sounds really nasty! I feel for you. After a bad winter it's so hard waiting for spring. After a couple of grey and rainy weeks, we finally have warmer, sunny weather since Monday and I'm enjoying it so much. Sending good, sunny vibrations in your direction...

I want spring! Soon! It's snowed here the last 3 of 4 days. I'M OVER IT! The snow needs to end. NOW!!! If you need me, I'll be the one curled up in the fetal position waiting for June. Surely it will be warm by then? That's the last time I trust a ground hog to do the weather forecasting! Didn't he promise an early spring?

I could have only hoped for rain... Our 8-10 inches of snow melted over the last week or so....we were seeing grass for the first time in months. Then.....WHAM!!! 12 inches of snow. My daughter wrote a note to mother nature, suggesting that we've had our share of snow. I haven't sent it yet....anyone have the address??? Bring on Spring in Michigan!! (please!) Pam

I'm not commenting either Susan, lol. Though my daughter and son in law enjoyed some snow in NYC, I think it was yesterday. She wasn't too pleased when I told her the temp here, lol. Vicki

Pam, you "win." I feel for you--12"! We only had about 2 inches here today. It was a weird snowy day. It just sort of drifted down all day in big clumps. It would have been pretty, but I'm OVER THE SNOW! DH has been in northern Maine this week. He got back tonight and said that they still have a ton of snow. We have big piles left, but I'm seeing some grass here. Spring will come--I just wish it would hurry up. And you southern girls aren't helping! Just rememeber, your air conditioning will be on soon!

Still cold here in WI. We did not get the foot of snow that the northern part of WI got but we had ice on roads last night. A bright note though I saw not one but two robins on my way to the grocery store today so that made me happy. Would love to turn the furnace off for a day. Deborah

Great wedding blinkie, Dania! Today at least the sun is shining. Yesterday it was cold, drizzly, windy, grey and dreary! Our temps have been about 10 degrees below normal. After hearing the snow tales, I realize I have nothing to complain about! Gail

If some of you have too much ;D sunshine, please send it to the rest of us! Although I must admit that today has been slightly better...no rain (cloudy, however) and the winds are clocked at "only" 30 MPH! I was just grateful for any improvement, however, since I played for a funeral this morning for a 94-year-old, very sweet lady, whom I've known for years...so I had the privilege of doing one last bit of service for her. (No power outages, thank goodness, because those don't help the organist! I'm enjoying the blinkies, even if my laptop resists such fun!

No snow today. And the sun was shining. It's cold, but like Diane said, I'm grateful for the improvement.

You all really need Spring. March can be such a tease. You long for spring and get more snow. Hope the weather improves. Michelle I hate to tell you but the air conditioning is already on. Mostly to keep the pollen out. Katherine

OK, now I'm complaining. Predictions are for a mix of snow and rain tomorrow, with a high in the 30's. This crazy weather has got to stop!!! Gail

Still raining, windy, high of 45-ish (maybe)! At this rate, my DD may never get rid of the cough that came with a cold that she had a month ago!

Well at this rate spring will be in august ! We have a poll going in the neighborhood for when the final snow will disappear from the area where the snow was pushed by the snow plows. We put $2 into the kitty and picked dates. The winner gets all the money. My date is April 17. For a while, it was warm and the pile was melting rapidly. But after this week, I may just win! And A/C already! The warmth sounds lovely, but not the A/C.

Of course it's nice in No. Calif. now! We're headed north to Washington, and it was beginning to rain as we pulled into Salem, OR, for the night. Please send some of that sunshine northward, too!

Salem is 20 mins from where I live. Yep not very nice weather here besides the rare sun breaking through the clouds

In the grand scheme of things, I will admit that the weather in the Seattle area is not as awful as it is in the Northeast! However, there has been rain in varying amounts every day that we've been here...and with the exception of about 2 hours yesterday, we weren't able to let the 4- and 6-year-olds outside! You can imagine what cabin fever does to restless, imaginative little boys! And while we've been up here dodging raindrops, it's been sunny and in the high 70's at home in No. Calif. Of course, by the time we get home on Sunday evening, there's a chance that we'll be back to rain again...RATS! I just hope that the weather was lovely for Dania's daughter's wedding today!
