See, several guys in my family think I don't know much about sports. I will admit that I ask what they think are stupid questions about rules sometimes, lol, but I just beat them in the 3rd sports bracket. We did brackets for the college football bowl games, the NFL playoffs and the NCAA tournament. Guess who just won the 3rd one, yes, ME, woo hoo. My youngest is going to have a cow when he finds out I just won the NCAA one (the tournament isn't over yet, but I have so many points that no one can catch up). I can't wait to tell him the girl beat him again, lol.

boys vs. girls in sports and brackets and rules - LOL. I have the entire NFL lock-out/strike/labor negotiations all figured out but dang if no one will listen to me!! Hubs was screaming on the phone all last week and I calmly offered my solution to no avail. Vicki - I say sit back and reap the rewards - we know wayyyyyyy more than they'll ever give us credit for so hit 'em hard with those picks!!!!  |

Well Duke messed me up cause I had them going to the final (cause I love them  ) but still did good with some other picks. There is some winnings, just waiting until the championship game to make it official and then off to shop. My youngest acts like picking winners is some scientific thing, it's just guesses, lol, and I can guess with the best of them, lol. Susan, don't get me started on how pissed off I am about the NFL mess. The Jaguars just postponed the season ticket renewal date to April 6th but if they don't have it figured out by then, hubby won't renew and then I will lose the seats we worked hard to get and I'll be sad Vicki (who is now going to root for Kentucky to win it all) |

North Carolina - because any group of boys who can wear baby blue that well gets my vote.
I know nothing about college basketball - I only vote based on color or names. No cool names this round - so it's all color!
Baby blue gets my vote!!
{And Vicki - the NFL is doomed - I'm just saying don't hold your breath!}

Kentucky beat North Carolina tonight, woo hoo (sorry). And I am trying to keep a positive attitude toward the NFL mess but I'm slowing losing hope. The Jaguar organization and Team Teal worked so hard last year to bring the fans in and not have any blackouts and I'm afraid they are really going to lose that ground. I know that just about all the teams have said refunds will be given for any games not played but I have a feeling the money would be taken more quickly than refunded. I'm very sad over the whole thing.

You're talking about Louisville right? Hubby picked them to go to the finals, lol. They really messed his bracket up. Heard about the big rivalry, son said not to wear my Kentucky shirt in Louisville, lol.

Kentucky has a nice shade of blue, lol. It's the same here in Florida. Big Florida/Florida State rivalry. My son is a FSU fan and son in law is a Florida fan, makes for some fun times, lol.

Yes, Vicki, in theory, Kentucky is a nice shade of blue. But since they beat Ohio State, I am not sure I can cheer for them. My dad might drive out here and hurt me. LOL! Granted the huge rivalry is with Michigan, but why take chances? So, who else has a pretty colors?!  |
