And I could pretend to be ashamed of teasing--but I'm not!

Gail, my MIL has Early Cognitive Memory loss. We got the inlaws a digital photo frame for Christmas and scanned DECADES of old photos onto it. I personally thought it would be overwhelming for her, but I got out voted. But she LOVES it and will sit and just watch the pictures scroll through. So if you are looking for gift ideas for her for the future, I highly recommend the frame.

I've redone the code 100 times...and they are just mondo huge! OH well - great things come in HUGE packages! Right?!?! Especially for NSD!

Gail, my Hubby's mom has Alzheimer's. We got her a digital picture frame and she loves it. She will watch the pictures go by and tell me stories about the pictures. As time goes by and she is doing worse, she doesn't remember all the pictures. It doesn't seem to bother her right now, though. I bet your mom will love a scrapbook!

Alzheimer is such an awful disease....
My MIL had it........it was so hard on her kids......the 2 sons who lived near her knew there was something wrong before there dad pass away (hubby being one of them) the other 2 boys realized there was a problem soon after she come up missing for a least 32 hours and they had to take a female to pick her up over 200 hundred miles away. 3 of the 5 girls still refuse to admit she had a problem ........a sad sad ordeal for everyone....it's been over 14 yrs and those girls barely speak to their brothers (before they were very close and had a blast when they got together.)

My thoughts and prayers for people with this disease and they caretakers.

Is Susan picking on me again, lol. I actually got Mother's Day finished yesterday. Drove my butt to Walgreen's and picked out 3 really nice Hallmark cards, lol. I'm done, woo hoo! Now don't get me started on NSD. Not ready for that. My daughter and I are doing a 3 day crop at the National Guard Base nearby and haven't even started packing. I should get started cause it'll be here before I know it and I won't be ready, lol. But hey, at least Mother's Day is taken care of, ha ha ha!
