How is the weather near everyone? I'm quite tired of ours we only had a couple days above 70 so far and it will be June in a few days. Today its been monsooning and we've had 0.22" of rain so far :/. Not very nice at all for a 3 day weekend!

For once, I'm not complaining. It hit 90 here in Boston today. I'm in H.E.A.V.E.N. (But the rest of the family is hot!) But we had a high of 45 degrees here a week ago. With rain for 9 days straight. It just seems incredible that we have had a 45 degree change in temps in a week. I'm like a lizard in the sun soaking up the rays. You never know when it will get cold again. I wore shoes without socks today!

We will take the rain for 9 days straight here......we wouldn't even have puddles the ground is so dry. If we didn't have CRP (fields re-planted with native grasses) all of West Texas would now be in East Texas. Unless you have a really tight house......NOT......there is sand in your house. YUCK....You just can't dust enough. Cat

I need pictures of the Boy, Crafty Girl! Cat, I can't imagine the dust. That sounds horrible! I'd happily send our rain your way. Cindy, I don't think I like you as much anymore!

I'd trade some of our clouds and rain for some of that 80-degree weather! We're back to sweatshirts again, since it's barely going to reach the mid-60's today.
Oh...and 2 nights ago, we had 3 tornados on the ground, ripping through a couple of orchards...not doing enough damage for any kind of "government intervention", but also the owners won't get any insurance compensation, since there's not a "current" crop of almonds or walnuts yet. (Rolling my eyes, shaking my head...most of the nuts and rice that you buy at the store comes from CA).

Boy, you guys sure are having some icky weather. Mostly I hope the tornadoes stay away! And after months of complaining about the snow and the cold, we made our first trip to the beach today. The wind was blowing and we were wrapped in towels and the water was barely above ice cube stage, but boy did it feel good. Heaven! And I don't think I got any sunburn. That's a big challenge for this lily white red head. A doubly good day!

Sorry to hear about all the lousy weather out there! I have nothing to complain about - sunny, hot and 96. It was lovely outside this AM, now I'm just enjoying the AC! Gail

Barely 60 degrees today, and getting ready to rain... again! Gail, could you spare a bit of that nice, warm weather? We had more spring-like weather in January than we've had since then!

Well the weather is subject to change by the weekend. I see Arizona will be getting triple digits! 80-85 would be plenty warm for me usually the ac is down by this time cos it gets so stuffy in the house

Here we go again...
We have a tornado watch once more...there have been a couple on the ground (briefly) about 45 miles southwest of us, and there's now another cell right over the same orchards that were hit last week. We are guaranteed to have a thunderstorm with hail (but no tornadoes on our hillside ) within the next hour...sigh...

We are under a tornado warning until 11:00PM in Maine. A tornado touched down in Springfield MA, during rush hour traffic. The problem with tonados in this area is that we have no sirens or early warning devices since tornados are so rare.

We had that storm blow over us, Jenn. It really was incredible and you are right--it is extrememly rare around here. That's all that was airing on TV last night and now this morning. We have some downed branches, but that's about it. But it was sure scary for about 5-10 minutes!
