Can anyone suggest a paper that I could use to make die cut flowers.
It does not have to be plain.

I would think that any paper you have on hand would be fine for making die-cut flowers. If you want them to be super dimensional then you might want paper with a little bit of heft to it.

I use whatever I can to make flowers. Cardstock, fabric, Mulberry paper, newspaper, tissue paper, page from old books, felt, glitter foam. What ever will fit the machine and the die will cut.

Baje, Just like the others said, you can pretty much use any sort of paper for flowers. It just depends on what look you are looking for. Sometimes I will make flowers out of cardstock (CS), sometimes out of patterned paper, sometimes out of old music sheets, newspaper, chipboard, felt... It all just varies on what I'm doing. Scrapyland does sell paper in pads or kits. I love the paper pads because you get all the papers in a pattern line and they are all kept together. They also carry American Crafts CS which is a really nice weight. And they ship internationally. Give it a try! Cardstock: www.scrapyland.com/American_Crafts_Cardstock_s/533.htmThere are too many patterned papers to list, but some of my favorites are Basic Grey, Echo Park, Bo Bunny, Die Cuts With a View, Graphic 45, Jillibean Soup, K & Company, Melissa Francis, October Afternoon... Those are some good ones to start with. Go to the website (link at the top of this page) and the companies are listed on the left side of the page.

Like Dania I have used all of these materials & the some to make flowers......If it fit the machine & dies I've tried it. I've had the most success with the stuff Dania mentioned. It mostly trial and error at my house...... Cat
