Whoa - only 3 things??? OK... 1. Good Lighting (which to me means an electrical outlet for my Ott-Lite) 2. My 5" Xyron and refills - I run my cardstock through it before I die-cut, making my cuts peel and stick - a great timesaver! 3. My notebook of Susan's Starting Blox - they really save me when I'm low on inspiration! (If I can have one more...) 4. My Vagabond and dies (guess that's another reason I need an electrical outlet!!) oh now hang on ladies - you would be able to bring all of your supplies and tools and stuff - HAHAHA!! We're not going to a desert island! I was thinking more of what's available wherever the retreat/crop/event was being held? Like...some people insist on single rooms/hotels...others insist on great restaurants nearby...some want great weather so they can enjoy fresh air during breaks...others want big ol' comfy chairs...I've heard ladies demand the newest and bestest of shopping...others just want great deals/steals! Good stuff though...thanks! Keep on answering!!!

space, the ability to shop, demos. I love demos at crops. Showing new products and how to use them and then the ability to buy them often at a special discount. Barb

Well, I've never been to a scrapbook retreat or crop so I have no experience to base this on but that being said
1. I like to spread out while I scrap so plenty of space is a must.
2. I would like a warm weather location so I could go outside
3. Shopping with great discounts and good food would both be great too.

No worries Jenn! I think she's both fascinated and afraid of cats. The first cat that she met had claws--enough said! So she just watches them with lots of interest. And remember, this is the dog who can just barely climb a set of stairs. You kitty can move MUCH faster! ;D

DH took care of his son's Rottweiler/Shepherd mix for a while before we were married. She would carry the family cat around in her mouth, but never bit her or tried to toss her around. It really did startle people who didn't know this dog or cat well!
Incidentally, this dog thought she was a "lap dog"...also a great foot-warmer in the wintertime! ;D

My husband had a HUGE shepherd mix dog before we were married. One afternoon it started to thunder while I was over at his house for a family BBQ. I was sitting on the couch when a loud thunder sounded. The dog was afraid of thunder and jumped into my lap!! He was a very heavy dog, at least 110 lbs!!

Big Dog would be a lap dog if we let her, but she's too stiff to climb up on the couch. But if she needs some love, I sit on her bed with her and rub her ears and belly. She makes these little sounds that we call her "purring." See Jenn, she's part kitty!
