imagine this - the house is cleaned, the laundry is done, food is in the cupboard and refrigerator, kids are occupied for the evening, dishwasher is running and cars are full of gas...what would you do this weekend? ME? I'd print off 25 pictures from last week, grab a stack of Blox, pour a glass of wine, crank up the "scrapbooking" play list and hand hubby his new book and scrap-scrap-scrap! YOU?

That would be pretty much my plan too, Susan, EXCEPT... My studio is a total disaster area - I can hardly find a clear path to navigate to the desk, and tools are buried under layers of paper! SO, its clean up/organize first, then scrap later (hopefully I'll have some time left)! ;D Gail

I would scrap our beach trip from last weekend--with the new Echo Park Splash line. It's 65 here now--I'm glad it was warm at the beach!

I actually am scrapbooking right now. The guys were putting up hay for two days so I got alot of sorting done. I just finished grandchild # 7's book. They are 36 double sided pages when done. I am sorting # 8's on two card tables in the frontroom. So next week I will start Kyle's. I just go through 8th grade. I have a pretty good system . I don't wait till the dishes are done, laundry, etc. I do the dishes than I scrap for an hour. Then I may put in a load of laundry. I get lots of interuptions with the phone and people going in and out but I still get lots of scrapbooking done.I have two graduating 8th grade this year so there books will be # 9 and # 10. My 21st granchild is on the way . So I keep pretty busy scrapbooking. If I had to wait to scrap I would never have any free time. I believe you have to make free time for yourself.

I would have to do some cleaning up like Gail before I could do any crafting. Paper is everywhere, things are buried. After I finished that I would scrap though.

Deborah, what a wonderful gift to give the grands! I would love to see your books. And Divas--Susan said the house was clean. If your scrap space is in your house, that means it's clean. Dream Big!

I would figure out how to use my gypsy and my cricut E2. Then I would work on a disney princess album and some cards. I should do that today since I'm not supposed to be walking. *sigh* Barbara

Cleaning my scrap space seems to be an ongoing activity. My solution to that (or maybe it's just avoidance) is to take the supplies that I am using downstairs to the dining room table!

Diane, I like your way of thinking (or is it denial??) ;D The good news is the cleanup is in progress - and I've found a few things I've been looking for The bad news is, the end doesn't seem to be in sight!! BUT, I can see some clear space on the desk and floor, so I know I'm getting somewhere! Hope all of you are having a fun weekend!! Gail

We are showing the house this weekend, so I had to tidy up the studio. I found some paper that I'd forgotten that I ordered and the EP Splash paper. So I very strategically laid out the paper and pictures like I have a page in progress (even though it's mostly in my head!)
I know the rooms are supposed to be neutral so that the new owners can imagine themselves in the house, but there is no disguising the studio for what it is. Really, it's the best room in the house. Sunny, but the angle of the sun is good so it isn't hot and it's bright and cheery.

I would go through my stack of Costco Photo envelopes and start scrapping whatever I pull out! So many times I get lost in looking at the pictures.
I would complete my project to house my Stickles.
I am presuming that my studio is already clean and tidy - which it isn't at the moment.
Have fun everyone Karen
What did you do?
