it's humpday - we're halfway through the week! WOOT WOOT! check out the Scrapy Land blog today - and see the double-dog-dare-throwdown that I participated in - AND ACHIEVED!! {my friend and I have a wicked sense of competition!!} www.scrapylandblog.com/blog-home/2011/6/8/with-all-of-the-amazing.htmlAfter the crazy amount of comments there WILL be a waterfall album class next week {details to follow on Friday...with supply list} and today I'm asking if you're up for a CHALLENGE! Instead of a challenge - think of it as a dare...a double-dog-dare!! happy day everyone - I'm off for my morning walk!

I'm just back from my morning walk. It's going to be a warm one today!
I love your page, Susan. I love all the butterflies--they are so summery. And I can't wait to find out how to make Karen's album!

I am up to a dare but it needs to be early on Friday. I have a jewelry party Sat. morning and grandson's graduation party on Sat. afternoon. so I would have my evenings to scrap.

Zing is American Crafts embossing powder. You stamp your image with Dye INk or embossing ink {VersaMark} and then sprinkle the embossing powder over the top. THEN you use your heat gun and it melts everything. In this case, it melts to a shiny, smooth and somewhat metallic looking surface. I love embossing powders... and the AC Zing colors are SO DANG vivid and bright! The ones I used are all "metallics" but AC also makes some that are "glittery" and some that are "matte" I think...COOL stuff!!!

You know, one of my goals is to emboss something. I have what I need--I just have never done it. Maybe because I think I'll make a mess? But the new studio has a wet bar in it. So I'm guessing that messes can be easily cleaned up when I move to the new space! Do you think having wine nearby will affect my ability to keep my scrapping square? Or will I need to switch to a more haphazard, random look?
