"oh my" is right! very details, AND embossed - it's gorgeous! It almost looks like a cameo pin...it would be gorgeous layered over a solid oval piece for a dimensional look!

I was very interested in the swan but then I read that it takes practice to cut such a complicated design. I am starting off small because of that. There are a few dies that do interest me. Anyone out there order the swan? How do you feel about it ( i know that they are not yet shipped ). I have never bought any of these Cheery Lynn Designs that is why I am hesitant. Any opinions please?

When they say it "takes practice," it just means the first time you cut one of the dies. Just to see how it works in your machine. Because they are so intricate, sometimes they need a shim (there's another thread going about that.) And they also tell you that if it's not cutting completely, to just turn the die 90 degrees in the machine and cut it again. I just use a bit of repositionable tape to keep the die/paper sandwich intact and then cut.
I have a ream of cheap white CS from Wally World. I do lots of practice cuts from that so that I'm not wasting my good Bazzill. DD and her friends get the practice cuts.
Make the leap--you will love these dies!

Dani, you are evil, lol. That is a gorgeous die. Lots of great ones up for preorder. Hmmm, wonder if hubby will kill me if I place an order before we get home from vacation, lol. Vicki

I have a few of these on order and I'm excited to try them.
That swan is amazing... I will most certainly need it.
