Just curious! Got any fun crafting going on? Craft-shopping definitely counts, too!
I am on night 3 out of 7 for work, so I'm suppose to be sleeping when I'm not here. But tomorrow I am waking up just before noon (or midnight, since I'm backwards!) to drive with my husband and our friends for 45 minutes to the IMAX 3D Harry Potter experience. Then after that I was promised I could go back to sleep! Sunday will probably be laundry and starting in on packing for vacation. The plan is to pack a little each day and then not have to do it at the last moment right after work on Wednesday morning. I'm sure I won't do anything ahead of time in reality, but it's a nice well-planned thought! What about you?

I always have those good intentions about packing, too, Nikki - but I usually wind up doing it at the last minute! Enjoy Harry! Today DH and I are clearing out all the junk in our upstairs guest room, since my FIL is coming to visit this week. SHEESH! I can't believe how much junk we've stashed up there.... But so far it's going pretty well. I have hopes to get some scrapping in tomorrow. We did discover some pix of my MIL from her grade-school and teenage years, and I'm thinking about a few pages using them. So, once the work is done, I should get to have some fun! Gail

I have a huge pile from about 4 years ago and need to get rid of. My sisters will get first crack at them but then what?? Cindy

Cindy, bring them into the doctor's office. I cut off the address labels and then bring them in. Newsweek, Air Force mag, old scrapping magazines. Our clinic always seems grateful for them and I'm upcycling them.
Nikki, what did you think of HP? We saw it this afternoon--I don't think I blinked the entire time. I thought it was really, really, really good! I don't want to say any more right now and spoil it for others. But I'm so tempted to go back again next week and see it!

There's always so much work in the way of playtime, isn't there?
HP was phenomenal-a very well made ending! My crybaby self contained the tears to one scene in the middle. It was really great. I only slept three hours this morning after work though and we just now got home-I leave for work in an hour! I'm soooo tired!!!! Oh well. Definitely worth the exhaustion! I wouldn't mind seeing it again, in RealD next time instead of IMAX 3D.
About magazines-My collection spanning 6 or 7 titles starts from 1999 *cringe* I just won't let them go!!!

I only cried in the epilogue scene. DH was laughing at me, but it was just so sweet! We didn't see it in 3-D. Those movies give me a headache and I was the one buying the tickets.

I finally got to make some cards this weekend. Very theraputic. It had been way too long! My guys saw HP today and they loved it. I stayed home and had quiet time. I loved that!
