I am looking to get a onesie die for my DD shower for name tags. Would anyone know where I could find one? Thank you
Also, while on the subject of showers, would anyone have any ideas to share for the baby shower?

That's a cute idea for a name tag!! Don't know of any available dies, but there's several for the Silhouette. If you can't find what you need, let me know and I'll cut them and send them to you. Just PM me with the color(s), and size you want, and how many, and I'll get right on it! Consider it my gift to the new Mom!! Jennifer's baby banner on the Blog would be an adorable decoration! You can find it here: www.scrapylandblog.com/ Gail

Sizzix has a onesie die that is big enough for the invites--it's so darn cute, I want to adopt a mom-to-be so that I can use them for shower invites! There is a onesie in the CC Baby Shapes die set. It's 3/4" x 3/4". And there is a 2x2" doublekutz RS-0324 that would be a little larger. And there is the exclusive Baby 4x4 die that is an awesome price right now. www.scrapyland.com/Singlekutz_Revolution_Die_Baby_p/c-0184-s-rev.htm

I have the 2x2 Baby Onesie die. If you'd like to have it just send me a prepaid envelope and it's yours. I have zero use for it. LOL I bought it for DD and DS' pages and I think I've used it about 5 times. It's in my pile of sell or donate.
So let me know if you'd like it.

Do you need game ideas?
At my baby shower and my sisters and friends some favorites were:
1. The Can't Say "Baby" Word Game. - everyone received a safety pin. If you said baby the person who heard you say it asked for your pin. At the end whoever had the most safety pins won a prize.
2. Toilet Paper Wrap Game - rolls of tp were passed around and you had to guess how much was needed to wrap around the soon to be moms belly. Again winner got a prize
3. How many M&M's in a jar - guessing game. Winner for the MM's and a prize (you could do blue pink and white if the baby gender is not known or blue and white or pink and white if its known)
4. Baby Word Scramble Game - 15 to 20 baby items scrambled and you have to unscramble them - again prize is iven to winner. (es bottle = tlbteo)
5. Baby Food Guessing Game - little jars of unmaked baby food are passed arround and you have to guess what they are. Some people also put the food in diapers to add to the baby effect. LOL Its funny to see people stick a diaper into their face to smell it.
6. Prize drawning - everyone puts their name into a bowl and the mom 2 be draws a name for a prize
7. Red dot Chair - put 1 or 2 red dot stickers under 1 or 2 chairs and those who sit in those chairs get a prize.
Hope that helps!

Also if it is co-ed a fun game for the men is how fast can you change a diaper (you'll need a baby doll for this) and how fast can you drink apple juice or beer from a baby bottle.

On the invitation suggest that everyone bring a package of diapers for a drawing. When they arrive with the diapers, write their name on a slip of paper and at some point at the shower, draw a winner!! Of course all the diapers go to new momma.

I used 2x2 dies of the cowboy boot and the cowboy hat for cupcake picks for a baby shower. The new baby boy's room was being done in a western theme. I cut & inked two boots for each pick...then sandwiched a extra long toothpick between them where I glued them together ( off set from each other so it looked like a pair of boots). Hat I used two so I could hide the pick. People (men & women) had a fit over them and the LS cupcake wraps.......It's an easy way to decorate cupcakes for any kind of party.....they were fun to make also. All of the parties listed here sound like lots of fun. Cat

Ok I went to two showers this past year and it's a bit gross but I guess it's the new party game. Melt different candy bars in disposable diapers in the microwave, squish once melted and it resembles a dirty diaper where guests have to guess which candy bars are in which diapers.
Also old fashioned but you can have guests guess at how large the Mom to be is by cutting lengths of string. Then whoever is closest wins.
A cute fun event we did was the Mom to Be did one of those Ad Lib pages for expecting mothers. She asked the guests the word she needed then read the story back. That was pretty funny.

Oh, by all that is Holy, do not play the string/toilet paper game! I found that to be so humiliating at my shower. I'm a fairly small person, but I was HUGE and carried it all out in front. None of the strings made it all the way around. It was horrible! And that candy bar game is gross! But I'm strangely drawn to it and almost want to try it out!

We have played the candy diaper game. It is funny and totally gross!! It looks way worse than you think!! but it is so funny to see these women putting a brown, squishy diaper up to their face to smell it!! Sister has some ideas for new games, so I will post when she lets me know what they are. I am always looking for new fun games. Cindy

Here are more games: 1. Check to see who can guess the cost of baby items on a sheet. 2. Link up famous moms to their babies: So on one side have a list of famous moms and on the other have their baby names have them guess which mom belongs to what baby. 3. I came up w/ a Trik-Cathon game. We we're able to get 4 tricycles; I then bought 4 aviator goggles and 4 propeller caps. Each person competing had to where this while they raced down our drive way and then came back up the drive way. It was the funniest pictures EVER!!! Both the men and women competed. Afterwards I had the winner from both sides go at it. The woman racing (cousin) was going to win but the man racing acted like he was going to crash into her. She stopped and it slowed her momentum....Yup! Just plain evil! LOADS OF FUN!!! 4. I also had the baby changing race, broke down in 3's. Bathe the baby, change the baby and then feed the baby. Good luck to you!!!
