Thanks everyone! It was a hilarious evening. I so wish it was on video. Everyone would get a big laugh. Hubby said he was taking me somewhere around 6 pm and would not tell me where he was taking me. We get to the Town Center and says my timing is off so let's go to Chick-fil-a and get a coke. Okay, weird but okay. Then we sit there while he reads the newspaper and I'm freaking out. He won't say what we're waiting on and I'm texting my kids and they all claim to know nothing, lol. Finally he says okay let's go. Go where? He won't say. Then as we're driving down the road and stopped at a red light, he looks in his wallet and says darn, I forgot something, we have to go by the house. He said we'll feed the dogs and have to leave right away because we can't be late. When we turn the corner by our house, I fully expected to see some of the kids' cars there but when I didn't, I thought oh well I was wrong. As we get out of the car, he says they are non refundable tickets. Where do tickets come into this??? I am more confused than ever. As he opens the kitchen door, there are 3 of my kids with balloons and cake. I was surprised. It was a sweet surprise. They brought me dinner and had some yummy cake. Hubby is terrible at planning things, LOL. Well maybe he's good but confusing as all get out, LOL. Fun day for sure! Thanks for all the birthday wishes, Vicki

Vicki, how fun! I'm glad that you got to celebrate your day! DH planned a surprise party for my 30th. He told me that he was taking me out to dinner, to a Korean place that I just hated. What? He said we were meeting friends there and that it was too late to change the restaurant. We stopped at a friends house to drop something off, and the entire group was there. It was tons of fun and I didn't have to eat that nasty Korean place's food!

Michelle's that's a funny story. Glad you didn't actually have to eat at that place, lol. I was mad that I couldn't eat at chick-fil-a, I was hungry, lol. But the chinese food from our favorite place was yummy. I was so mad and confused though, I wanted to bop him over the head, lol. Vicki

Ha! And you were probably trying to be nice, thinking he had some plan cooked up and were trying to go along with it. Well, I guess you were!
My DH never plans anything socially--that party was mumblemumble years ago and he hasn't tried anything since!
