I know I know the kids are all back in school, things just got settled down from the summer but I have vacation coming up to go to Disneyland in October so I was thinking it you could plan your ultimate vacation (all expenses paid of course) where would you go/see/do?
For me I think a nice European vacation would do the trick...and not just the big sightseeing events but go into the countryside.
So what about you?

2 weeks in Italy - not the tourist stuff and no guide. I want to rent a B&B or a time share house - near a village with a market and a local winery. I want to buy bread and produce daily, meet the people, learn the customs and see LIFE. no tourist schedules, no gift shops, no buses or cameras on neck straps. and wine - lots and lots of wine. also - with that comes no cell phone, no email, no dogs, and no appointments. Well, unless the Pope is receiving guests when I'm there. I have a few things I'd like to discuss with him! LOL

Sounds wonderful Susan. Pat and have said we'd like to take 6 months and do basically the same thing in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
My trip would be Australia!

1 month in Greece and Italy. We are somewhat history, art / architecture and oh the graveyards we could visit. That would be the top of my list. Of all the places we have vacation I loved the countryside in UK it is so beautiful. I would simply love to retire in Southern Wales or the Scottish Hylands. Life is so expensive there one can only dream about it.

You better have mega money, our last trip to the UK for 4 weeks cost us over $7,000.00 not including the flight and we have relatives on my husbands side there. Better win the BIG ONE!

Ok you may all think I am a Dork-- but I would totally go to DISNEYLAND!! and I would stay in the new Mickey Mouse suite at the Disneyland Hotel. I would arrive in a Limo with my Husband and kids. We would stay for a week. We would have unlimited fastpasses for every ride, as well as prefered seating for all the shows. Mickey and Minnie would personally escort us to the park each morning. All expense paid vacation! A cozy cabin in the mountains with all the supplies needed already there......(no forgotten necessaries to run to town for) With a large creek running close by; with rainbow trout for hubby's fishing delight. Giant pine trees everywhere you look....A large bay window just right for scrapping when weather is cool or wet.; a large porch to scrap on when the weather is great......all with a great view of hubby pulling in those lovely fish.....(he will grill for supper) A huge fire place to sit by in the evenings with a great book...... well my dream is to spend a week in Paris (that's all we can afford but if it's all expenses paid, two weeks would be awesome) and hubby is taking me there next year for our 30th wedding anniversary! Vicki

My dream vacation would be to travel to Alaska for a month and see the meat of that great state. My hubby and I went on a Cruise to Alaska and I absolutely loved it! But it was only a tease because you could only spent a short amount of time on your land excursions.

I'll stand in line with Vicki. Paris. I've wanted to go forever. We were all set to go last summer and 10 days before we were scheduled to leave, it got cancelled due to DH and work. We were going for our 20th anniversary, so I'm now working for our 25th anniversary.
