I haven't had to replace any 4x8 foam on their dies yet. But I've often wondered what I would use if I did need to.... Sorry, I'm no help here. Pam

I have never had to replace it either, but could you use two 4x4 foams?

I haven't had to replace any either, but would probably use spare 4x4 foam like Karen suggests.

Yes, I've had to replace it. A friend of my DD "helpfully" pulled the foam off the die. And no, QK will not part with any. I've begged and pleaded, but nope. The best that they can offer is to use two 4x4 pieces. However, it does work.

if I'm working on a project that requires thin chipboard or felt - I'll peel the foam off. And then I need to replace it. And yes - I usually use 2 4x4 pieces of QK foam, but I recently had it happen that the two pieces met up in the middle of a row of letters on the die - so my die-cuts had a slight line across the center of them. Since we cut "good side down" to the foam, and the foam seam was in the middle of the letter...OOPS! Lesson learned! count me in for some replacement 4x8!!

I have lots of 4x4 so if it was necessary I would use them. I have had an occasional thin letter from a 11/2 font come off but fixed it with a 2x2. 4x8 may be or interest to me. I do like to keep back ups on hand.

Like everyone else, I piece together 4x4s. Like Susan, have had issues with the "seam" imprinting on my die cut. Dani, I'd love some 4x8 replacement foam if you could carry it! Gail

Like the other Divas I have pieced 2 4x4 foams and have them meet in an awkward spot.
So I would love if you were able to carry 4x8 pieces and if there is any chance for longer pieces for the border dies, I would be so graftful, I have several of the border dies that I keep having to put the foam back on as it continues to fall off.

Ugh! I didn't even realize I did not have any 4x8 foam until this thread!! lol
When you use dies over and over, the foam gets smushed and wrinkly and to me, makes a difference on the cut. I don't use my 4x8's often because I tend to pull just the letters that I need out and cut them unless there's a lot to say (and I have a 4x8 font that will work). But I know that if I used one enough, I would be ripping the mottled foam off and wondering what to do next. Putting two 4x4's down is a good idea of course, but yeah if you don't do it in just the right place it could mess up the cuts and then waste those foams. Sounds like Dani might be ready to manufacture some foam. So I suggest the 4x8 sheets, 2x12 sheets (or 3x12, right? there are some thick borders!), and maybe like 8.5x11 for customizing or cookie cutters.

I asked QK for 4x8 foam and they said there was no need back then. Just use 4x4 extras and I told them that does not always work. They ignored me. I have saved all my foam and found some discounted that I bought to. When you make a 100 footballs or 100 palm trees , etc. they get so they have to be replaced. I would definately purchase some 4x8 foam for all my alphabets. I could never understand why they put it in the 2x2's, and 4x4'x but never any in the 4x8 and some of my cookie cutters I have used glue on to hold it on.

I am so frustrated with lifestyles/quickutz when it comes to 4x8or 4x12 foam!!!!!!! That is a pet peeve!!!! I have a storybook font and a border that need foam and they told me to use 4x4, it leaves lines in the paper die cut
