for paper? I want a great Copic-friendly white cardstock that I can get from Scrapy Land preferably. What do you tend to like most?

Thanks Susan! I have seen this recommended several times on YouTube but I obviously need the Divas opinions and expertise before every purchase!

I agree with Neenah. The Copics blend so beautifully on it. I now use it for all my stamping, whether I'm coloring with Copics or not. It's good stuff!! Gail

I would have to agree w/ the other Divas Nikki - I would recommend Neenah paper. I've tried the other papers and found the copic color's are not as vibrant. You would have to go over the images more to achieve the same vibrant look. These other "papers" are also a bit thicker than Neenah so they don't saturate as fast you're coloring ink tends to stay on top of the paper longer causing the ink to bleed. This has been my personal experience I'm a Neenah girl all the way! Hope this helps as well.

Just wanted to add I tried the Copics manuf paper (am always a Neenah user) just to see how it was in to comparison and OMG..don't buy it unless you like paper thin paper. I so regretted this paper purchase and glad I have a nice bulk of Neenah to tied me over for awhile.

Oooh, good to know! That would be disappointing!
Just to warn everyone: If you husband sees your colored image and says the hair isn't quite right and to give him the colorless blender... well... just don't. Urg!! I don't have a clue about shadows, no matter how many people I stand underneath a lamp, but the blending on this one was really really good!! lol now it looks like he spit on the little boy's head.

hey Nikki - remember that the Colorless Blender isn't really a blender. It's an "ink mover". I always tell Copic at CHA that the pen should be renamed - LOL!! But you'll hear that same sentiment in lots of videos and teachers classes...not blending, but moving.
so it's not intended to be used to blend a E35 and an E37 together...that's what you'd use an E33 or the E35 for...blending.
The CB {colorless blender} would be more for moving E37 out of an area you mistakenly put it down...
hope that makes sense.
OH - and definytely keep the Copics away from hubby - LOL!!!

Oh I know! And it's my favorite tool because I color outside the lines every time. I was using it to push color back into the acceptable place for color when he took it from me. And now we are divorced.

I don't have a clue about shadows, no matter how many people I stand underneath a lamp, but the blending on this one was really really good!! lol now it looks like he spit on the little boy's head. Oh Nikki like you I learned the hard way......only I was sewing patches on the knees of husband's work jeans......He wasn't sure I was doing it right and said as much.....well I had plenty of other things to do so I left him to it. Now please understand my Dad could use a sewing machine as well as any woman. I now think it was the mechanical engineer in him. But that was a Big mistake on my part, all men do NOT know how to run a sewing machine much less sew on patches. If we hadn't been so stretched in the money department ....I would have had a fire built in the front yard and burned those jeans. It took me almost a week to take out his mess and fix that pair of jeans. He hasn't said a negitive word about my patching or sewing since. (cause he knows I'll hand it to him and he doesn't want it. ) Cat

Okay, IN LOVE with Neenah paper. Wanna know what I've been coloring on until it arrived the other day? The white paper that comes inside the refill scrapbook pages. Yeah. lol
I love that the color stays where I want it to, but also moves where I want it to. Even though I'm still working on blending and technique, etc, it's made a huge difference. I'm glad I got the 50-pack from the get-go! I also love how the stamped image itself seems to hug tight to the paper but looks like it's sitting on top. I'm just super-impressed!
Thanks gals, as always, for the great recommendation!
