Did anyone elses curl up after using them? I ran them through my Epic and they are all curled up!

Are they sticking in the die and then you need to "pull" them out? Sometimes a die will do that for me--I'm basically curling it when I pull it out.
Try cutting it a few times. For some reason, that often helps. Or "pop" it out of the die rather than pulling it out.

I think she means the actual DIE is curving as it's run through the Epic. Right?!?! Am I translating that correctly - LOL!! Yes, mine warped a little, but the die is such a thin metal frame, that I sort of expected it. I use a Vagabond, so after I was done making a bunch of cuts, I just flip-flopped my cutting mats and ran it through "upside down" and it flattened right out!

It makes sense to me that the die would warp/bend a little bit. I've had that happen with a couple of my dies in the Epic6. I tend to just gently flatten it a bit being careful not to bend the heck out of it. Or, put it between to heavy flat encyclopedias for a little while It shouldn't affect how well it cuts in the future-that is to say, I personally haven't noticed any problems going forward with the dies that have curled!

Sorry! I guess I'm clueless today. And duh. That happens to me, too. Like Susan said, they are thin and do that. I was blaming the flex mat, because it really doesn't happen in my Rev. And like Nikki, I just sort of try to gently bend it back into shape.
Number 5,321 reason for how I feel about the Epic...

So far, I've only cut the bats with my rev and I've had no problems... But this has happened to me with other dies. They usually do flatten out with time, and they still cut fine! Gail

I did have this happen. But dorky me had it upside down on the cutting surface because I wasn't paying attention and was trying to get my bat cut quickly. I knew when it came out the other side exactly what I did. I'm human...... Other than that, no. I haven't had this happen when the die is on the cutting surface correctly. Pam

Pam--I do that all the time. And I never did it with the Rev--I think it's the magnetic platform. It makes all the difference.
But be warned--if you cut into the Epic cutting platform, it will void your warranty. My Epic has that clear plastic shim glued to the cutting platform. It separated completely (came unglued.) Sadly, I can't get it replaced because I cut into the platform. Ugh.

I forgot about your stash of platforms--I may just take you up on that offer!
They wanted $20 to replace the platform, plus shipping. I paid full price for the darn thing, no discount/extra dies/anything. I don't want to pay any more!
