Weird--I was JUST "ordering" this! I don't have that die but it's nice to have the pattern to be able to hand cut it! Freebies are always welcome in my shopping cart! Can't wait to see your photos, Susan!

just FYI - one of their score lines is off - I'll point it out tomorrow...but if you hand cut it I think you'll be able to figure out which score line it is. It's marked with a dashed lined and is one of the end flaps...it shows up in their pictures on the blog... it's not a huge deal because it's the bottom of the box... but CUTE CUTE CUTE - and free!!! The die makes it super handy though!

i don't get the Lifestyle website. Okay I see it's free but then do you order it and pay postage or what. Deborah you see the shape that says $0.00 - click the ADD TO CART button, it will put it in your "shopping cart" and then you go through the process to CHECK OUT. But it's all free - you don't have to even enter a credit card number, you just keep going through the five steps...and it does it for you. After you're CHECKED OUT you click back on the main page in the MY DOWNLOADS button along the left edge and your download page will be right there!! If you haven't registered at LC's new site - you'll have to do that, but if you already have you're all set! hope that helps - let me know if you need some more help...

Susan....did you have to resize the printable before printing?? If so, what size did you print it to?? First time I printed it, it was probably 50% of die size...resized myself to 100% and it's still printing too small to cut with the die.....the cut lines don't match up. I've looked for instructions on LCs site.... (It's that techno-itis thing...) Pam

Pam I just downloaded the .jpg/web page and with it on my screen I hit print. Ran it through as photo paper on best quality...and it's perfect! Well, except for the boo-boo score line that LC didn't catch. It die-cuts perfectly. I used Scotch Removable tape {of course} to hold the die perfectly aligned, and fiddled with it just a bit to make sure the score lines were cutting on the score lines, got it all set and DIE-CUT! it's adorable!!!

apparentely mine is somehow downloading as a PDF not a jpeg. So it's not printing right. We re-downloaded with same results.
Addendum: I figured it out!! Myself! It was shrinking to fit to the page...I had to take the 'page scaling' off. Thanks!!

Susan I got it downloaded and they sent to me as an email. I clicked on download and then printed. I don't actually have the box but wanted to try this. You said to click back to main page and I could not get back to a place where it said My downloads left edge. It said it printed at 72.5% but since I don't have the die I dont't know if it is the right size or not. On my 8 1/2 x 11 paper it measures 6 wide and 5 and 1/4 at tallest point. Does that sound right. Deborah

sorry Deborah - I think I left out a step. Okay - so you have it printed once...to access it again follow these steps: • go to www.lifestylecrafts.com• in the upper right hand corner click the BLUE letters MY ACCOUNT • sign in using your email addy and password • you should now see MY DASHBOARD it should even say "Hello Deborah!" at the top of the screen. • along the right hand edge is your account info, web orders, wish lists, and MY DOWNLOADABLE PRODUCTS, click that • you now see MY DOWNLOADABLE PRODUCTS with the list of any items you have purchased or received for free. • just click on the treat box - DL0007-1-TreatBox and you'll be right back to the page to print from • once you see the orange polka-dotty page in front of you, click up in your menu bars and select SAVE AS - a dialog box should come up and it says dl0007_1.pdf - - - BUT you can rename it! I changed the name to "orangedottytreatbox.pdf" and saved it on my desktop so I can use it a lot this week! • then to reprint it tomorrow - I just need to navigate to my desktop and double click on the orangedottytreatbox.pdf icon, and it'll open with Adobe Acrobat! HOORAY! Please let me know if that doesn't work for you!!! OH - and for size...I am measuring the printed polka dotty image, which is a tad bigger than the cut lines. But the printed orange image is... 6 and 11/16" at its widest points {from left hand edge to right hand tab} and 5 and 3/4" from its tallest points {from top of tab to bottom edge} Mine prints to a default of 100% - maybe try that and see what you get size wise. Just remember to print in greyscale draft mode until you get it sized right - so you're not wasting a bunch of ink!

Deborah - as you assemble the box, adhere the body of the box together - it only takes one swipe of tape. Then tuck the bottoms into each other...the top flap - the top of the box and the "tongue" that tucks into the body of the box - the tongue is what is scored wrong... if you assemble the body with adhesive, tuck the bottom in - do all of that scoring first - just done do any of the top flap scoring until you see how it fits...you'll see right away where the score line is off. I measure it and it's roughly 3/16 of an inch off. As you're holding the printed page in front of you - with the LC logo in the upper right hand corner...it's the left hand side of the box...the bottom most score line on that left side. hope that helps!

here is a video ladies - I had so many emails about these little boxes that I just decided to film a video. however I am not going to put it on the blog - because I got disconnected at the very end - TWICE. So the video cuts off in the middle of me closing the video. I can't bring myself to film it all over again...grrrrrr...so cut off it is! So - I'll share it here on the message boards for us! But I show you the tape trick to reinforce the box edges, and point out where the LC mistake is on the score line. GO MAKE SOME BOXES... www.ustream.tv/recorded/17855922

Thanks for the video Susan! I do not have the Treat Box die, but it should be fun to make up a few for Halloween.
