does anyone have one of these bracelets?
I love charm bracelets, have had one since I was a child - and started a big girl one years ago that I now wear daily. It's like a wearable scrapbooks.
But these Pandora bracelets have me fascinated. And I am thinking of starting one for my daughter - easy to mail small charms, good price points, tons of patterns, and I guess there is an online register so that brother, aunt, nana, granny, etc. could keep track of what she has so duplicates wouldn't happen.
Looking for opinions. Do you love yours? Is it addicting? {I don't want to start an addiction - LOL - she has enough of her own with cowboy boots, blingy belts and hats!}
Quality - availability - online ordering - longevity?
THANKS!

I have one and just love it! Family get me beads for Christmas every year. I do recommend getting the stationary caharms that cover the two threads sooner than later, as I was forever chasing my charms on my bracelet, bringing them back to the center.
I got the larriet last year and really like that as I can switch out charms based on my mood!
I think you daughter would love it.

They are very pretty! I have always collected Italian charms for myself (I have an Italian scrapbook-face watch and swapped all the silver links for personalized scrapbooking links). BUT I have seen people with the Pandoras and as a young person (30 is young, right?!) I would certainly enjoy a Pandora!

I have Trollbeads (teeheehee)..just like Pandora but straight from Denmark (trollbeads.com) They ship really fast and I find their prices are pretty reasonable as long as you are not ordering gold.
I liked that they had a leather wrist band as well as the normal chain variety.
Beware they are addicting..when you first start out seeing just one or two all by their lonesome selves you just can't feel but obligated to purchase more. Usually I buy 3 or 4 at a time.
ETA - Did I forge to mention that yes I love mine. And they also have necklaces and earrings.

Quality is great, love browsing in the stores, lots of stores sell them online, go for it!
DD really, really wants one. But she's 12 and she loses everything. She just isn't ready for something like that. I may start one for her sweet 16. Surely by then they can keep track of their stuff?
But make sure you get the clasp guard thingy. That way if the clasp isn't done up right or fails, there is a backup. Well worth the investment!

I don't have any myself but I know a few friends who really love them. I did make some faux Pandora charms out of polymer clay for a class we were offering. They turned out really nice.

I have one....er,ah.....two!! Yep...a pink themed one and a blue themed one. Both have the soccer ball charms on them (imagine that!). They are fun! They do have a range of costs for the charms from fairly inexpensive silver to very expensive gold/blingy ones. And I agree with Karen, you should eventually get the spacers for the bracelet so the charms don't slide all over the place. They are also compatible with other makers charms (I have a Mickey Mouse dangle from Chamilla on mine). But there are other makers that fit as well. At certain times of the year, you will also find that Pandora has 'bonus events' (i.e. spend 'x' amount and get a product free/for a reduced cost). I just picked a bracelet up to start for my daughter this past August (she's 11). They had a bonus time where you spend $100 and get a bracelet free (that's actually how I started my second bracelet too). They do that bonus once/year. I'm planning on giving it to her for her 16th birthday. I say go for it!! Pam

My daughter has one. she loves it. She has just special charms on it from family and friends. I love it when she wears it and always ask what each new items meaning is. she showed me how it all comes apart and goes back together. Your daughter will love it.

thanks ladies!!! Pam I just missed the "free" bracelet event - it was a couple of weeks ago and even though the ads were still on their front door and plastered on every mall billboard, they wouldn't fudge the rules. I was a little peeved!! LOL - but - I think I"m going to do it! I do love my Tiffanys charm bracelet - love it to pieces - but I only get new charms when I am in NYC or my hubby is there. It's a crazy personal rule, 5th Ave. Tiffanys ONLY! HAHA And since the charms are quite a bit more than Pandora charms, I can only justify a new one every so often. And they don't have tons to choose from. {I couldn't believe Tiffanys didn't have a graduation cap!!} So - I think Pandora is more her style, and I love the idea of my mom, my sister and I all being able to track her charms online so we know what she has...and wants. I found the bead "stoppers" - and the safety chain, and Karen recommended the "opener" to open the individual stoppers!?!?!? So those are on my list! THANKS for the suggestions and encouragement ladies -

She'll love it, Suz!! I have another brand of this type of bracelet, and love it - it's so easy to change out the colors of the beads for various seasons and occasions... But, collecting the beads and charms IS addictive!! Gail

Susan, I forgot about the safety chain. I have one on my bracelet. It is a worth while investment considering when you add up the cost of a full bracelet.

Susan, I probably would not have paid any attention to this commercial but since you were asking about Pandora bracelets I listened.
On the radio early this morning I heard an ad for Jared; they are offering a free pink leather travel box for Pandora purchases over (I think $100) at Jared. Looks like there are a few in your area too.
