 this is a test from the video!!!  alright ladies - I finally got my screen recording software to work the way it's supposed to , and I promised a Photobucket video! Here is how quickly you can get a new account set up and working! I will also be posting this on the blog, along with the schedule for next week! Any questions - let us know! I, or one of the DT ladies, will be able to help you out! It really is fairly simple, and once you've done it a few times it will become second nature! and if you want to watch it on a bigger screen - here is the link: ask if you have any questions! |

sorry - not teasing at all! I did an entire video today - TWICE - showing how to start, log in and use a Photobucket account. This was the post I was starting in the video - to post images to the MB. However each time, right during my little wrap-up and reminder UStream has kicked me off - and not saved my video. I was literally so ticked off when it did it the second time I just quit! So I'll leave this thread here to remind me to film it again...and you can all giggle when it makes sense! LOL So frustrated with UStream right now, and my camera, and my microphone - technology - I swear!!! |

I hope you get it figured out soon! And then maybe you can tell me why my laptop isn't recognizing my external hard drive. It's like all our electronics are mourning Steve Jobs. (even though my laptop is a Dell. Shhhh...)

Basketlady I feel your pain. Mine was working perfectly and about 2 weeks ago one of the devices has had a brain infraction that I have not had time to figure out. When I do I will let you know.

Not sure how I am doing this but I resized to 400 and they are still too big. I downloaded two to organizational and they are too big also. Am I doing something wrong. Deborah

Deborah, it looks good here. It's Photobucket--for some reason, it does that. I just size photos to the medium size and leave it. It shows up fine on the MB and eventually it looks ok for the poster. No one has been able to explain why this happens, but I've learned to just accept it as a quirk of Photobucket!

Deborah they are perfectly sized on my screen - you are seeing them bigger because computers are stubborn. Your "cache" memory has the photo original sized, so you are seeing that. In a little bit, it will look fine. Trust me - I upload pictures all the time and they are 8x10 on my screen. I reload and reoad and reload and FINALLY the computer goes "ohhhh - aha - you want to see it's real size"...so the 400 pixel wide picture will show. Strange but true. Your picture is the same EXACT width as Pam's ghost banner directly above it. The exact same 400 pixels wide. It's fine...you're just seeing the super-sized original size! |

Okay then I guess I am ready to go as long as I can remember what I did. It came out different than in the video but some things were the same. Like nothing shows on the right side of my computer it is all under the picture. If it works for Susan than I guess I am ready. So will everything be downloaded to the message board next week? I will wait for instructions. Thanks Susan for the video. I played it like 6 times and then tryed to right some stuff down so we will see what happens next week. Looking forward to a fun week

This morning I turned on my computer and everything is sized normal. Guess it did have to think for awhile. That picture of me was taken in Milwakee WI this summer at our IRD convention. This is the first time I took a photo from my computer and downloaded it to another site. I am afraid if I branch out anymore I am going to make it snow. |
