Does anyone know what these dies are? I can't remember when or where I got them, but I'm guessing they were thrown in with an ebay auction that I bought. I tried to identify them last summer when QK's site was still up and I couldn't find them, even after going through the entire list of dies one by one. That makes me think they are part of a set. They are marked "B MAR 222, B MAR 223, B MAR 224." They are similar to some dies in the Blossom set, but that's not it. I'm trying to tidy up and I want these dies put away!

Michelle the zig-zag/ric-rack edge one looks like its from the bottle cap set. I don't have the set.......but we used it in a class I took yrs & yrs ago....one of the first classes I took. The circle could be part of that set.....but the square? Cat

I have the bottle cap set, and I just took a look at it...the zig-zaggy one and the round one do look like 2 of those dies, but these are NOT the letter/number codes on mine. They also resemble a DoubleKutz set (KS-0166) that is called "Ribbon", but is actually a prize award medal (e.g. blue ribbon, red ribbon, etc.) I can't explain the square one, either...but since the numbers on your 3 dies are consecutive, it makes sense that they're all part of the same set.

I am still thinking. I thought of bottlecap die set also. They are old original numbers. I have the two flower die sets but I can't match the square with it. Hope we can solve your mystery! The circle and scallop could work with the Daisy Die but again those numbers all go together. Deborah

It's crazy, isn't it! I have no idea. I like to adhere clear labels on my dies and file them in the right category. Do I put them with the sets? The "Basics" category? grrr... I know they are older dies. The number code says that, as well as the fact that the dies are shiny. Does anyone have any of the die sets that came in the metal tins? The online pictures are so horrible--it's hard to tell what came in those sets. But those dies were shiny.

I checked the one I had. I had Holidays and it was not part of that set. It was in a tin. I don't have anymore of those.

This isn't going well, lol. It doesn't match any of the dies in the theme kit sets. It doesn't match anything in my make n take kits. They don't all match the bottle caps set or the flowers sets. It's the darn square that's off!! I'll keep working on it though

Thanks so much, guys! I'm not feeling so bad right now that I can't identify the dies. It's a mystery!

They seem familiar - did they come from the Sunshine set?

They seem familiar - did they come from the Sunshine set? Karen The Sunshine set was one of the first things that I thought of, too. Unfortunately, I can't find pictures of them...only the picture of the box that they came in, which doesn't help a whole lot!

Very interesting. I have these dies in my collection. Went straight to them. However the numbers on mine are Q MAR 224 Q MAR 223 and Q MAR 222. I bought these many years ago in their original blue package.
I wonder if someone had them reissued and they just changed first letter so they would not be considered original for the people who only collect and don't use their dies. ;D
I do not have the original package anymore but I believe the circle ones go together to make a seal like you would find on a diploma.

Nope, it's not Sunshine. My Sunshine dies are marked "Sunshine" and there wasn't a square in that set. I wonder if QK Mary has the answer. But they must be part of some set--regular QK dies are marked RS or KS (well, basically.)

Bottlecaps came to mind but I looked them up and that is not the SKU....I am thinking it maybe with a font. Most shape dies are marked as either DK or SK or REV, etc..but MAR maybe a font..I am searching for you..keep your fingers crossed.

I found MAR on my Stilleto font. It was Q Mar 2701. I don't have Exotic, Mademoselle or some of those. I have a friend I will ask tomorrow and see what she says. She has alot of QK. It's been a fun mystery day.

Michelle, I have them too and they are marked Q MAR 222, 223 and 224. Anyway, they came with the CK Typist alphabet. I keep all of the dies that came with alphabets filed with them even though it may be better to store the shape dies from the alphabets with my shape dies. The rest of my CK Typist alphabet dies are numbered Q MAR 22A for the A, Q MAR 22B for the B, etc. Could the B on yours mean they were part of a bundle with a squeeze tool or something?

I've checked everything I have and come-up with zip. I have a 4x4 flower that has a circle and the zig-zagged circle for the center that looks to be the same size as your's....it's a real mystery. Cat

I have the Typist set, too, but mine came from a special offer on QVC, although QK came out with the set later. I think it was one of the first times that QVC offered a QK set (maybe it included the squeeze? ) I don't think it was called "Typist",but maybe "Typewriter" instead. It's been a while (obviously), and I'll take a look tomorrow morning, if we're still on a search!

They are definitely from the CK Typist set. I bought mine from QVC as a Today's Special Value and it came with the blue squeeze. It was the first time I ever saw QK dies and fell in love with them instantly. We don't have any scrapbook stores or QK retailers near here but the QVC studio is only about 15mins. from my house and you can go into the studio store there and buy the TSV and save yourself the shipping plus you get it instantly. I wonder if the Q in my set stands for QVC and maybe the B in Michelle's set stands for the blue squeeze. Who knows? Those early alphabets seem to have a few different numbers for the same alphas. Sometimes people post on ebay with just the # because they can't remember the name and it's almost impossible to figure out which set they are trying to sell even with the Wendaful guide because the numbers don't match.

Phyllis officially wins the challenge, with Diane a close second with supporting evidence! I do have the Typist font and may have just bought it off of ebay. The dies must have come with that set. Were there just the three shapes, or am I missing some?
Thanks guys. I can't believe how fast you came up with the answer. You are all awesome!
