hey did y'all see the cute fuzzy black iron-on, die-cut spider web border on the LC blog today? lifestylecrafts.com/blog/CUTE CUTE CUTE - I wand to find one of those totes in white. {I have one that my friends in MN gifted me with last year - shocker it's lime green - and I love it. Collapsable and small BUT opened and huge!} anyway - what are your ideas about ironing these on? The ends are cardboard, so that would be easy, but I'm envisioning struggling with the sides that collapse and are flimsier. I'm thinking maybe I'll go the vinyl route?!?!?! Easier maybe? opinions...or tips...whatcha think?

Oooh I love those white totes. I wouldn't mind some either. I wonder if Pottery Barn (maybe the kids one) or Container Store might have them.
I like the idea of iron on..seems like it should fold since the material is thin. If you go vinyl then wouldn't you have to use an adhesive to attach it? Seems like that might be 1) messy 2) possibly peel at the edges later.
Good thoughts though..I am right there with you..total cuteness!

Wouldn't you be able to slide it over the end of the ironing board?

That's really cute! And when you're done looking at that one, scroll on down and see how the snowflake border was used as a "ribbon" to wrap a package (the snowflake season is coming, you know! )

Susan, I think iron-on transfer would be the way to go. Not sure vinyl would stick so well. Agree with Karen - you could slide the collapsible sides over the end of the ironing board. If its hard to keep it flat, try putting a piece of cardboard underneath to stabilize it while you iron. Now I want one of these, and poopitz, I just got back home from Walmart!! Show us how it turns out, OK??? Gail

What about a fabric tack glue? should hold paper ok and might be easier than ironing?
