I know we have a few Divas who are in Michigan. Wondering if any of you know anyone going to the football game today - Nebraska vs Michigan - at The Big House.

My daughter is there with the Cornhusker Marching Band and it is KILLING ME that I don't have a way to get pictures. They NEVER show the band on the TV...and I'm physically ill about this awesome day with no pictures.

Anyone - know someone going? Anyone you could text and ask to snap a picture on their phone? The Michigan Band invited the Cornhuskers to perform half-time - SO COOL - they're doing a really cool jazz program that I got to see on Tuesday - wahhhhh, I'm making myself sadder as I type!

HAHA - I'm such a dork! But I figured with the awesome connections we have here on the SL board, there might be a chance!!

Game time is in 1 hour, yeah, I sort of waited until the last minute. Story of my life!

THANKS ladies - Cornhuskers and Michigan in 1 hour - with two amazing bands in the stands~!!!!!!!!

Why, oh WHY do they think commercials are more important that watching the bands perform at halftime? I think more parents/alums/fans would buy their products if they simple made a statement, such as "______ (name advertiser) will not be showing their commercial, in order that the TV audience may enjoy the halftime performance(s)".

Just a thought...

Maybe someone with the band will be taking pictures that you could get a hold of somehow?? Just a suggestion....

Susan, they may have a photographer for the team that also takes pictures of the band and the cheerleaders. They do that here. He's not affiliated with the school, but he comes to the games, takes pictures and then puts them up on his website. Parentes can then buy photos from there. The shots are nice and close up and much better than anything I can get from the stands. It's worth a try...
