Wow! I'm not sure you have all the colors, Cat! That is one gorgeous arrangement and the dividers are really what makes it work. Good job, Mr. Cat!
Now be careful that Kitty doesn't crawl in there as a stow away to your next crop!

Karen, I'm not sure of a brand name.....but it's a CD case with the hanging files. DH built the dividers out of ceder wood and turned the center rail upside down. I got the idea when I throwed a few Copics in my Rev case.....I had DD#1 to check out the measurements on some CD cases I had seen while visiting her last summer. Between the two of us we decided to get this size cd case. Yes Michelle & 1whoscraps I do have a nice collection. I started collecting them even before Dani started to sell them. I took a 2 Copic classes at a local scrap booking store and you received 5 with each class. Then my boss gave us gift cards to our favorite store that same year and I got to really stock up on Copics. Then Dani started selling them and I would around up my orders to get the free shipping. Also I have a couple of elf's who give DH hints for my Christmas presents every year as well as getting me a few themselves. My family is great about getting me scrapping supplies for gifts......DH even thinks my habit is cheap (LOL) therapy and of coarse he knows it scrapping makes me happy. Cat

oh oh oh oh! I need to do this - Cat I LOVE the portability of it - handle and closures and all. Last time I toted my markers into the family room with me I knocked the containers off the coffee table, just about pitched a fit. But you case could sit on the sofa, heavy enough to not tip - and I love the locking lid. Did you find it at a Target/WalMart place?

Susan, I love it too. Christy picked it up at a place called Fry's; I sure other places like Target, Walmart, or a Best Buy will have them. ( I even seen some online before.) She took a Copics to make sure the lid would close with it standing up. Like I said earlier, I had thrown a few Copics in with my Rev. when I carried my stuff to my Mom's.....then I thought hummmm.....I could stop carrying the Rev in it's case and use it to store and carry my Copics......then I thought I don't think it will hold them all.....RATS...then I remembered seeing these CD case (light bulb goes off)........then plotting, planning and discussing over long distance started. I'm sure the dividers could be made with foam core, mat board ......we kicked all kinds of ideas around and DH surprised me yesterday by having it all dressed -up and needing Copics. It matches my train case, Rev case and my die storage cases. Oh yes, We have some of these cool type cases with pages in them to hold our 2x2s and 4x4s....a little expensive ......but hey I've spent a small fortune on dies over the past several years; they are an investment I plan to take special care of. Wow, Cat! That is SUCH a great storage idea! I don't really use my Rev case, and my Copic collection pales in comparison to yours, so I'm thinking maybe that would work... Thanks so much for sharing this terrific idea. You are a genius, my dear!! (And so is Mr. Cat!!) Gail

Does "Mr. Cat" (aka Dad) have extra cedar he can cut if sister and I want a case, too? That looks awesome, mom. It'll be nice for you to see all of your colors at once instead of having to open all those zipper pouches. Yay for great storage! (AND *matching* storage, lol)

Your sister already has a case and Mr. Cat has her dividers ready for it. I knew you would change you mind about it once you seen how good it works. Mama Cat

Ladies I have new storage for my Copics A CD storage case. DH made the dividers today. I love to carry my Copics anywhere I think I might have some time to color. ;)Yes; I'm as bad as the little kids with their colors and coloring books.....they keep me busy. This will make carrying them on my trips so much easier. Oh yes; let me introduce my crafting helper. He loves to watch everything I'm doing. Hope this helps with some one else with their Copic storage problem. Cat Ladies, I discover another great Copic organizing idea last night on Pinterest. It was a grid type ceiling tile used to cover fluorescent lights. The person had cut it down to size to fit into a storage box....the Copics stand on end. It was very nice looking and I can see putting a piece inside a CD case to hold Copics upright...Christy did mention she didn't think it would hold as many as the way Eugene fixed our cases but it's still a thought. I'm always looking for ideas that I think we all can use in our scrapping. For a look see.....look under catdemel I have it pinned.....Oh yes my boards are willy-nilly. Cat

Gail, I called him Little Bit.....but his real name was Driftwood. He's the one that caught the fungal pneumonia and past at Easter.I loved him so much.....he was always trying to help me scrap. He was so sweet. I really miss him. I love my CD storage for Copics.....but Chelle, Christy and I was talking about the Pinteret storage idea......If you took the plastic grid and made a shallow box for the grid to fit near the top you could hang the box on the wall. If you pull a small piece if wood or something near the bottom against the wall so it would have a slight angle the Copics wouldn't fall out. If you desk isn't against a wall you could put some kind of easel on the back. Hope this makes sense. Cat

Karen I promise I'm more organized at home than I am on Pinterest. I usually do most of my Pinterest surfing at night when I'm sitting up with my allergies. I pin things that interest me at the time then go back later and follow the pin......thats the reason for the mix of stuff. Cat
