and you're all invited! Just me and the dog, along with party hats and streamers! We're having a ball {well, the dog isn't, but he's putting up with me!} If you haven't noticed - Lifestyle Crafts released their "Countdown" collection at midnight last night! WOO HOO!! Hats and streamers, clocks and confetti, cuppycake holders and a new banner font! HELLO FUN PARTY DECOR! Check it out here, and let us know what you think of it! www.scrapyland.com/Countdown_Release_s/767.htmAnd as you have all come to count on, I have pictures on the Scrapy Land blog of the actual dies. It makes such a difference in making choices - seeing sizes and shapes...I also have a few samples up that I put together yesterday. www.scrapylandblog.com/blog-home/2011/12/12/a-new-years-release.htmlThe font is totally fun, and the confetti is a BLAST! I filled two envelopes with it as I was working away yesterday, my nephews are going to LOVE opening their "Aunt Suz" envelopes! {my sister might hate me though - LOL!} anyway - a fun, small little release to get in some last minute scrappy, die-cutting fun before the holidays!!!

This release is tons of fun! Love it! Seeing the actual dies makes such a difference--several more went into my cart after seeing the blog.
I have a funny story about confettiit in cards. DH went to college at the Air Force Academy. Back in the dark ages, we didn't have email and long distance phone calls were pricey and he was only allowed to talk on the weekends. So I would write him several times a week. (Yes, actual real paper letters! In an envelope with a stamp and everything!) It was his birthday and I put some glitter confetti in the envelope to make it festive. Well, he picked up his mail and brought it to class and opened the card in the classroom. But he slit the end of the envelope open and blew into it to pull out the card. Yep, you guessed it. Glitter everywhere. I'm pretty sure he got demerits for that one. I stopped the festive touches after that!

It is a festive release, though your dog doesn't look too thrilled with the party hat. Despite the dog's lack of enthusiasm, the party hat is very cute.
Ah, Michelle, I did similar things to my hubby back in our courting days. Didn't get him demerits in class, but he got plenty of card confetti! Hey, it might time to send him some card confetti for old times' sake. Thanks for the reminder!

I was asking myself why I "needed" any of this release, and then I saw the blog, and Maccabees changed my mind!

I think a few will be going into my cart. At first I did not like the "Celebrate" Alphabet. It is really different though and I am going to order it. I think it has alot of potential. Love how it looks with Diesel.
