Hi to you all sorry have not been very active of late but i have still been watching what is going on, would like to tell you all about a new medium we have been using the UK of late that may be launching in the U.S.A later this year its called "Sparkle medium/paste" by a company call "Imagination crafts" its a glitter paste but in different colours very much like dreamweaver paste, all i can say is its great for small amounts of "bling" and also for the full on sparkle, it works on most surfaces including acetate and vellum, they do have a website and will ship to the U.S.A. all i can say is the white is brilliant as is the black hope some of you will have a look there are some great ways of using it hope you dont mind me telling you about it Carole

Hi Karen from what i can see of the viva decor it does appear to be different, this is more of a gel texture with glitter suspended in it and the gel is semi opaque and coloured if you go on to their website "www.imagination crafts.com" there is more information there also you can see ther colour range which is also different from the other it is very similar in texture to the dreamweaver stencil paste, The white one is a true white no hint of pink or blue in it as there is with other glitter products i have used in the past. many thanks Carole

Hi everybody i can definitely nothing like stickles and a thicker and more intense glitter than viva decor, have managed to try a bottle of viva decor form a fellow crafter, and they have tried this product and love it just as much as i do i know it is a little dearer but it is worth the cost for the finish i have got with it. They have had a bit of a blog hop going on this week with the company and one of their designers which has been fun to follow and see the designs that have come out of it with a couple of stencils and other items many thanks for reading Carole

Carole, do you have a link? All I'm finding is some info on toxicity and metals composition. I'm not sure I want to be breathing that, much less putting it in my books. I think I'm looking at the wrong product!

How about a photo comparison of the 2 products?? Although I am not sure a picture would capture the differences Cindy

Hi All the website is wwwimaginationcrafts.co.uk and it is in the products section under "products inc mica" its callled sparkle paste they have a contact us section and will be able to answer all question they are very helpful and pretty quick at answering them. there are some demo's of it on their website it is very similar in texture to dreamweaver stencil paste and if it is helpful to any of you it washes of my stencils, brushes and pallet knife in warm soapy water very much the same as paint does. As you said Cindy a photo comparison is quite difficult as the differences don,t really show very well but am sure if you ask them the question they can tell you more, will be happy to answer any of you questions but they know more about the product than i do all i can say is it is the best of its type i have come across many thanks for all your interest please feel free to contact me and i will try to help were i can hope the full name helps plase let me know Carole
