Have you thought about Easter yet? It is less then three weeks away! What are you doing? Where are you going? Do you have a menu? We have NO plan. Hope you ladies will inspire me to make a plan!  |

Honestly Easter is this faint notion way back in my mind right now. It creeps up everytime I look at my dgs and wonder if we should even attempt an egg hunt for him..that's about as far as I've gotten. I imagine unless my mom is inspired to have Easter at her house I will just throw something together last minute, mostly likely a breakfast brunch.

I am glad Easter is at the end of easter vacation so I have time to get ready because it sneaks up on me too!! We go to Moms. I am not sure what we are having, we all bring something because there are 16+ of us.
I found a great magazine called Southern Cakes and so I am trying out cupcakes to share. I made strawberry frosting that is delicious!!! Next will be Lemon just in time for Easter!!

We will be bringing a new puppy home on Good Friday, so she will take up a large portion of our weekend

My daughter's birthday lands on Easter Sunday this year, so we'll be having a whole celebration weekend!
Lots of cake on Saturday, and then on Sunday, I'm the organist at church, and DH is a speaker.

My brother passed away on Easter day. We will have a memorial service in remembrance. The promise of Resurection consoles me.

My DH is participating in a bike event in the Outer Banks, so I'll be at the hotel scrapping if the weather's not so hot, or on the beach with a good book if it's sunny and warm!  Gail |
