I've "been there, done that" more than once. Fortunately, time does move on, and eventually the opportunity to play with paper and new scrapping toys returns! (Forget dusting and laundry, if that's the only other option! )

Leslie, this happens to me all the time!! After a week or two, I get this incredible "need" to be creative. My old solution when traveling, would be to seek out the nearest M's, HL, ACM, Wal-Mart, or even an office supply store, and buy a few supplies so I could do a little something... Now I bring a little "creative kit" with me when I travel... Some blank cards, scissors, adhesive, paper scraps, leftover die cuts or embellies, and if I get desperate, I have something to do. Works great for rainy days at the beach, too!! It really doesn't take up much room, and can be a real sanity-saver!! Good luck, hon!! Gail

Where are you headed? Can you bring scrappy stuff with you? I totally understand where you are coming from. That is my "me" time, and it is soooo needed. Sometimes I just put everything else on hold, and give myself some time. Sometimes it helps me be more productive in other areas I think because I have had some me time. Hope you get some good scrappy time in soon. Enjoy your trips!

I am headed Sat to an overnite trip to Solvang, CA then in 2weeks flying out to Savannah, GA thanks to the Divas...so not sure what I can bring as we will be doing carry-on but I am thinking a smash book might work. I guess it depends on how much other um stuff I have to bring.

This definitely happens to me every now and then. I think taking a smash book is a wonderful idea.
