Not to throw myself a pitty party or anything, but I twisted my neck and shoulder last June like 2 weeks before our wedding. The pain hasn't gone away and I've been to 2 different chiropractors and 2 different physical therapists. Granted my current physical therapist seems to have a bit more experience with treating this kind of thing, but I would love to just be able to move my head without a crunching or clicking sound! The thing I'm most upset about this is it prevents me from running (I ran 4-5 mi. 2-3x a week prior) and it makes scrapping a painful challenge, hence the reason I wasn't able to get my last few pages in for Spring Fling. I'm just tired of it because it's been almost a year since the muscle or muscles were pulled!

Oh, Noelle! That can't be any fun at all...and especially because it's never-ending pain! I hope it gets better very, very soon, because almost a year is too long!

I feel your pain, well not literally but been there before. I am plagued with back and neck problems..and right now or should say for the past 6 months I can't get rid of the neck issue. In the past I will say PT really did help. Hopefully they are doing the ultrasound, heat/ice and that tingling thing that breaks up the scar tissue. Once you get through this just remember to do those stretching exercises..I know those do help a lot! Otherwise you tend to have reoccuring problems. Have you been to see an orthopedist or neurologist? They might be able to offer better insight than just a chiropractor.
