Thanks everyone!! This birthday is bitter sweet- my son graduated from High School today!! It has been a roller coater of happiness and tears. Thankfully he is not going too far away to college and will most likely be home a few weekends a month. I guess its the end of childhood that seems to be the hardest for me. All grown up!!   Cindy |

Happy belated birthday Cindy!! My daughter just finished her first year of college. It's about an hour away and she came home pretty frequently. They usually manage to get themselves home when they need clean laundry.  Phyllis |

Happy Belated Birthday, I can so relate to the child issue. DH and I cried (well more DH than me) when my ds left..um hello he was just going to the dorms 10 min away and we were going to see him the next day..sheesh..but it's that moment like when you first take them to Kindergarten..the realization your baby has all grown up.
Hopefully you still had a great day despite it being bitter sweet.
