We have a new addition to the family! Emma is a 12 weeks old labrador and is such a sweet girl. We've had her for 3 weeks now and she already weighs a whopping 26 lbs! The potty training is going pretty well and she can now climb stairs. That's good, because a 26 lb wiggly puppy is hard to haul up the stairs!  |

Thanks guys! She's had a busy day and punished me for bragging about potty training. Three accidents today. Grr!
But now she's tired and sleeping over the A/C vent. I would think that would be so cold on her bare tummy. But she hears the A/C kick on and heads for the vent. So cute!

Hello Miss Emma! She sure is a cutie. Ear rubs from me.
I know the trials of puppy training, we have a new Yorkie puppy. We got her April 4th and she is now 6months old. She is an angel about bed time. She goes down at nine and not a peep out of her until 630. She had her little operation last Friday and is healing quite nicely.

These are such beautiful dogs, and she has such a sweet face! I am sure you are enjoying her puppy energy!!! She should outgrow it in about 5 years! It's just like having another kid....only with 4 legs! She will bring you joy!

Karen, I hope you little one is healing well. It's amazing how fast they heal, but you still feel bad for them. There may or may not be a few scrapbook pages of Emma.  She's super cute and very photogenic!  We haven't had a puppy in 20 years. I've forgotten a lot! And Sandy was just a gentle soul. But Emma is a good little puppy. She did great traveling here to MN. She chewed on her toys and napped. Pretty good, considering the first day we drove over 14 hours! Tomorrow we head up to Voyageur's National Park and she will swim for the first time. I know she will love it! |
